The worst experience we have ever had! ********************************* at Remodeling Empire **** is the worst person! We got a quote from him to have dry wall replaced due to water damage. He gave us a quote of $1375 and we accepted. The workers came in and found that the water damage was not as bad as we thought. They did NOT have to replace the dry wall, all that was needed was to have some paint put over the water marks in the ceiling which were just 2 spots that were the size of a frisbee. So we thought that this was great!! that the damage was not what we originally thought it was. So since they did not have to replace the dry wall the quote that he gave us should not be the same since there was only 2 small spots they painted over. Well to our surprise when we called ************************ to see what the price difference was going to be since the original job had changed. He rudely told my husband that he would not be refunding us back any of the $920 deposit that we sent him and demand that we pay the remaining balance for the $1375. We demanded that he be fair and charge us for the work that was actually done since there was not enough damage for them to cut and replace the dry wall it was only fair that the price be much less than that. He screamed and yelled on the phone at us and told us he would report us to claims and see us in court! My husband is a 26 year retired Veteran and I have worked at the *********** ***************** for 17 years now. We are hard working honest people and did not deserve to be treated this way. I will continue to write bad reviews for this company and tell EVERY neighbor and friend that I know about this horrible experience. And we will definitely see Mr. ********************************* in court!!
