August 11, 2021, I was recruited by NELSON ********** to participate in a Panel that they took over eight hours. After completing the panel discussion, payment was to be $225 to be rewarded as a **** gift card. The expiration date is February 2022. Now that I am attempting to redeem the gift card I find it is not validated! What makes matters even worse, is the company phone number does not answer at all. I have attempted to contact six different representatives from this company via phone and there is no actual person. The company That issued the payment, that I now found out doesn't even have a phone numberI have left voicemails sent emails with no response! I believe this is fraudulent, and surely I should not have thisProblem I'm trying to get paid. I have contacted the following people with no response! ****** ******/President *******@******************** XXX-XXX-XXXX *** ********/CEO *********@******************** XXX-XXX-XXXX ******* ******/Vice President *******@******************** XXX-XXX-XXXX ******* ******** COO *******@******************** XXX-XXX-XXXX This is information from The company refgarding my for participation on the panel:On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, 3:30 PM, ******* ****** <*******@********************> wrote: PLEASE REPLY TO CONIFRM RECEIPT OF THIS EMAIL & YOUR PARTICIPATION Here is the Zoom Link, Meeting ID & Password for the research meeting tomorrow Wednesday, August 11 from (8:30am - 6:00pm) Eastern Click to join: ************************************************************************** Meeting ID: XXX XXXX XXXX ID: **** User ID: ****** Participant #: 32 **** *********

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/23) */ We spoke with **** on 11/23/21 after issuing her an additional $300 card (see attached documentation that she redeemed this reward on 11/23/21 at 11:23am. She was trying to use the card to purchase an item that was above $300, the amount of the card. I advised her to use the card anywhere that***** is accepted, but the item must cost less than the amount on the*****. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/23) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Response:I would like to clarify the response from ****** **********.First, it was not "an additional 300" as is stated. My initial payment for a panel study was $225. - the extra $75 was given because of over the nine hours of frustration in attempting to redeem a virtual card which was invalid. I first went directly to two stores to make a purchase less than the amount in the card..both times denied. (10:25 -12:20 PM). Returned home and attempted to make the same two ,lesser card amount, purchases online-again denied- " invalid card".Fortunately, I had copied the information from the card issuing company, And then noticed there was only a email address for support,so I sent an email and a generic response was "we would respond within two weeks". I then continued to search the internet for ANY possible phone number for both ****** Recruiting or "tremendous" rewards . EVERY a number I called were voicemails, or non-existent numbers! I called Vias, referred to banks, who also stated the card number was invalid. continued to research, sent numerous emails attempting to get a response from anyone , continually asking for a call back! No call back, but finally received an email from a ******* ****** , who still did not return my call , but stated that she couldn't help, but would email the company, as I had already done! (1:00 to 7:35 PM ) As time went on,and there was more information I had discovered, including other complaints posted with the *** for EXACTLY the same issue of invalid card issuance. For the aggravation, total disregard in getting live help @nd answers is WHY an extra $75 was added to the new card which was issued today. I would like to note, today 11/23, that I did receive a call and an email from another ****** rep, ******* , who issued me a replacement card. Unfortunately, I have again attempted to redeem it, and once again, I am being told the card is invalid! I actually did speak to *******, who explained that I can not redeem it towards the card amount -$300 -purchase balance while combining it with my other credit card to make the entire purchase. I am working with the merchant supervisor, who hopefully will be able to process my purchase using the card that was issued today. Since, I have tried to make a purchase for $56 ,and the card was denied. That is where it stands as of now. If I am unsuccessful, I plan on contacting ******* for further advice. Bottom line: this was a payment for my services for a panel study of approx. 8 hours where I was responsible, dedicated, and followed the strict guidelines of ****** Recruiting in August. I just don't think it should be this difficult to receive a legitimate payment- perhaps sending a check for my and other participants' service would be more appreciated, especially knowing that others are encountering the same 'technicalities ' ( *** and internet reviews).I have never had. So many obstacles when trying to redeem a gift card-Ever! When you can't find or reach and customer service directly , the result is mistrust or fear of fraud or scam. I am hoping this is not the case. I thank the *** for your involvement. Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2022/12/16) */ Hi *****, We resolved this issue - we sent her an incentive of $300 as a goodwill gesture in addition to her original $225 incentive for a total of $525. She redeemed the $300 incentive on 11/23/21 which you can see in the activity log below.
