On May 11 2024 we purchased a certified pre-owned ******** 2021 C300 convertible in cash from Mercedes Benz of Calabasas. When purchased, dealer gave repeated oral promises of one year remaining new car manufacturers warranty AND, in addition, one year Certified Pre-owned Warranty. But, the dealer categorically has refused to give any details on both these warranties in WRITING.Despite all my efforts (visit, texts, phone-calls, emails) we still have absolutely nothing in writing about these 2 warranties. We do not know what is in-/ex-cluded, limitations, conditions etc. etc.BUT, dealer did attempt repeatedly to SELL us (for extra money) an Extended Warranty, which coincidentally has everything in writing! We declined to purchase. This seems misleading consumer deceit, if not fraud.I informed the dealer that I have signed a $2500 dispute with the credit-card provider, but still no paperwork about warranty.Dealt mainly with the Finance Manager, Mr. ******************** to receive the warranty in writing soon.

I bought a car from Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas in 5/25/22. When I bought the car, *************** from finance sold me additional warranty and service package. He informed me that I can cancel the two at anytime and get a refund for the money I paid for the warranty and service package. On 3/31/24, I went to the dealership and met with *************** and canceled the warranty and service as I sold my car that day. He printed two papers indicating I will get a refund in the amount of $1033.36 for the service and $2200 for the warranty. He promised me that I would get the check in 4 weeks. I have not received the money they owe me since. I also have been texting, calling, and leaving voicemails to Mercedes-Benz of Calabasas without any response. Additionally, *************** has been giving me the run around, giving excuses and reasons why I have not received the money they owe me. Today is 5/15/24 and I still have not received the check and there is no outcome. Please help me resolving this issue and getting my money back.

I purchased************** from Mercedes Benz of Calabasas in May 2016. I sold this car in February 2022. I reached out to ********** at this dealership on February 28, 2022 and requested cancelation of the warranty that I had purchased through them. Numerous calls, voice messages, emails have since been attempted with very little response. I also reached out to ****************** from ******** (the warranty company) but their hands are tied as they need to hear from the dealership to move forward. Unfortunately, they have not received responses from this dealership either. It has now been 9 months and there is still no refund.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2022/11/23) */ The Service contract was cancelled as requested. The refund amount was at our corporate office in ************** and was not marked for Calabasas MBZ as it should be. it was corrected and we have a check ready for 463.59. The delay shouldn't have been so long. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Consumer Response /* (2000, 11, 2022/11/28) */ The company reached out to me and gave me my refund. Thank you for your help.

My husband turned his leased car in to the dealership on 2/12/22 and got a new car. Since that time we have received hundreds of "toll road evasion violations" from 91express way and ******************** from the turned in vehicle. The vehicle was given to an auction house in ******. The car is registered in "Mercedes Benz of Calabasas" but the license plate is still registered in my husbands name. Hence the tickets coming to him. We have tried to no avail to get this resolved through the Mercedes dealership. Asking them to find who the vehicle was sold to. They have not helped. They keep passing us to new people. At one point a Mercedes employee told us to report the license plate stolen - we cannot do that since the car is not registered in our name. And actually asking us to do something that is fraudulent was out of the question. We don't own the car - they do!! Need this business reported as not doing proper business. And to think that we can resolve the problem when we haven't owned the car since February 2022. We need help

The vehicle traded in was sent to a ******************* Auto Auction where it was subsequently wholesaled to a dealer. We have reached out to the dealer who the vehicle was wholesaled to at the Auction, but our several attempts were futile. At the time of trade-in, our dealership reported the "Release of Liability" to the CA DMV that show the owner released their liability of the vehicle at the time of trade-in and a copy was given to the trading customer. Per the CA DMV, until the vehicle is retailed again, the current ownership information stays in tact until a Retail transaction occurs and a new owner is replaced on the Registration and Title. We are continuing to try to reach out to the dealer that purchased the vehicle at auction to remove the plates off of the vehicle and to use his own dealer license to prevent an future tickets or offense notices to the original owner.

I purchased a used*********** last year and added additional warranties at the time of purchase specifically because I was told the vehicle was no longer under Factory Warranty. Once I realized I still had two years of factory warranty on the vehicle, I emailed the saleswoman (****************) who sold me the vehicle to request cancellation forms for the additional warranties. This was the first week of November 2021 (11/8/21). She immediately got back to me that she would forward my request to her Finance Manager. Didn't hear from her/them for another month. Emailed again to no reply. Had to call on 12/17/21 to get the Finance Manager (***********) on the phone who told me he would email the forms. He didn't. Had to call again. And again. Eventually got them to send me the forms by email on 1/24/22... nearly 3 months after I requested them. I filled them out and sent them back the next day. Finance Manager, ***********, said he forwarded the forms to "my business office for processing." I was told at the time it could take 2-4 weeks to receive confirmation from my bank that the remainder due on the warranties had been removed from my loan. It's now been 3 months since I sent the cancellation forms and nearly 5 months from the date I requested the forms. It is absolutely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I've reached out multiple times by email and phone and the Finance Manager has basically given me the runaround (I'll check on that for you, I have a call out to my business office, I'll have to get back to you on that, etc.). It feels very clear at this point that they are milking me for every month they can to get additional payments on warranties I don't want. The warranties a Mechanical Failure Service Contract for $***** through ******** Warranty Services Inc. and a Tire & Wheel Road Hazard Service Contract for $***** through ********************************** Both should have been canceled 11/8/21.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/13) */ The cancellation process and reimbursement for the 2 products purchased have been paid in full to the lender ***** Bank. The In-tire product check of ****** was sent to ***** on 3/21/22 from the dealer. **** sent a check on 3/25/2022 for ******** to ***** bank. As of today they haven't cashed it? on 4/11/2022 the dealer sent an additional check of ****** to ensure all the funds for reimbursement were paid. due to the delay the items were pro-rated and the difference and delay was on the dealer. The reimbursement is 100% to ***** Bank.
