    Ordered a lounge chair from GDF Studio and it arrived damaged. The shipping box had two large holes in it and without even opening the box, I could see the chair was damaged. The box looked like it was old and potentially reused, as if the item had already been returned previously.

    Bridger Fabric Sectional Couch with Ottoman - Light Gray × 1 PLEASE BEWARE! This is genuinely the first negative review I have ever had to write but my hope is that this may save someone from being in the same position GDF Studio has left me in. This company mailed by sectional with 5 different tracking numbers for it to arrive on 5 different days. I reached out within a few minutes of seeing the 5 created labels and explained that I can't afford to take off work to be at my apartment for 5 different pieces of my couch to arrive on all different days. They said the delivery service will leave it outside the door. I explained leaving my couch parts unattended will run the risk of someone stealing it or me having to figure out how I can lift them into my apartment by myself. I couldn't believe how unkind they were and how terribly inconvenience they made this situation. So please, if you decide to go with this company, keep in mind that unfortunately they don't care about their customers and they won't treat you with the kindness and sincerity you treated them with.

    thank you for your honest feedback and for bringing this to our attention. On behalf of the GDFStudio team, we apologize that you've had a poor experience with our customer service. The majority of our big parcel items are designed to ship in multiple boxes, which allows us to offer free shipping to all of our customers within the continental United States. We completely understand the frustrations this may cause you as there is no way for us to guarantee that all of the packages will be delivered on a specific date. Once items are picked up by our 3rd party courier partner, FedEx, there is, unfortunately, little we can do regarding special delivery instructions as the seller. However, as our customer service team noted, you are more than welcome to utilize FedEx's Delivery Manager Service; where you can request for the items to be held at a FedEx location for up to 2 weeks and delivered at a date that is convenient for you: https://www.fedex.com/en-us/delivery-manager.html. We truly apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and again we thank you for your honest feedback.
