EcoShield Pest Solutions is a scam. On January 22nd ****, a day that was pouring rain in ***********, EcoShield texted me and left a tag on my door that their employee strayed my yard for pests. When i asked for credit, ********** stated their products works in the rain. One call center person said it is oil based, the next I spoke said it is grandular. EcoShield states if the company GPS says the employee was at your house address, they will not give a credit. This company is clearly a credit card scam and will continue to charge you. Do not do business with this company

On June 14th,2023, the Route Manager of Eco-Shield Pest Solutions knocked on our door and spoke to my wife. He said they were offering a $159 special deal for their services. After a long conversation, she told me she would like to accept the offer and I said OK if thats what you want to do.We found the initial service to be OK, Then, on August 4th, a technician knocked on our door and said he was there for a follow up service call. I said OK and he sprayed the exterior perimeter of our home and was gone in less than 10-minutes.Then, a few days later I noticed there was a $159 charge on my credit card. I informed my wife and she called Eco-Shield, who directed her to their call center. After a long conversation where she said we were not originally informed of this periodic $159 charge and wanted it reversed plus cancellation of our annual service, he said we would have to pay a $241 cancellation fee. This was unacceptable to us. She then called the Route Manager who said he would look into our complaint, talk to the owners and get back to us. He never called back and she called him 2-3 more times and left messages which were not responded to.While Eco-Shield may be a legitimate company, their marketing practices are deceptive and their customer retention policies are archaic.We want the August 4 charges on my credit card reversed and cancellation of the annual service agreement at no additional charge to us.

After 2 treatment one which took them 25 minutes for 130 dollars, I decided that I can easily do this service on my own. Try to cancel and they hit you with a 150 cancellation of contract fee. This is utterly unacceptable for a service I do not require. Hard push sales tactics. If a buisness is legit, it does not require this kind of sleazy contract under the guise of "cost of materials"

Similarly to several other reviewers, I had a really negative experience with a door-to-door sales rep from this company. His name was ****** and he was rude and persistent. I have a gated driveway without a buzzer and I don't want solicitors. My gate, however, was open because I had company over. When ****** knocked, I decided to ignore it because I was busy with my guests, but he kept knocking. I finally decided to talk to him through the front window. Being a small woman, I don't open my door for anyone unless I know them or are expecting them. THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE ECOSHIELD! It's 2023 - door-to-door sales are outdated and unwelcome. No woman in her right mind would open the door of her house to a random man.When I politely told ************** was all set with pest control, he kept on with his cheesy spiel and used the tired old lie of "I'm working with several of your neighbors" (BULLSH!T) - again I said no thank you and when he kept pitching, I said I wasn't interested and I don't like people knocking on my door but THANK YOU, he said, "I just came here out of courtesy, you don't have to be rude but y'all have a nice 4th," in a condescending and sarcastic voice.You know what ******? F you and this POS company. How dare you send people out to talk to people like that on their own front door steps. I was as polite as one can be while rejecting someone. The proper response should have been along the lines of, "Thank you for your time and may I leave my card?" Not calling the homeowner rude just for not wanting the service. This interaction really sat wrong with me but, clearly, I'm also not the only one.
