      BEWARE. ??THIS COMPANY HELD MY PET FOR ******. There's a reason why this place isn't accredited. They should be ashamed, everything from how they take your money to how late they arrive and the sad conditions they come get your loved one in SCREAM trash and a scam. Dignity? They came to pick up my pet of 16 years in a white van with NOTHING in the back - just set her body on the COLD HARD FLOOR. It felt like I was sending my poor dog to the ********* house. The driver was an old man with black rubber gloves who obviously was a third party. EVERYTHING they do runs through a third party. The lady on the phone couldn't even tell me what cremation service they used. Of course after seeing this I called literally 5 minutes later to get my pet back, because I had a horrible ugly feeling. Guess what they said? Even though they were close by, they REFUSED to bring my pet's body back. We had to call 20+ times to get a hold of a supervisor, and she made us send her $300 cash through a shady Zelle phone number, a foreign LLC, IN ADDITION to the $700 we ALREADY paid in debit. They do this because they don't want to deal with your bank. Because they KNOW they're a scam. This lady REFUSED to tell their third party driver to turn around and bring our baby back until we sent her $300. It was a threat and they knew what power they held over us. Unless we sent her the money FIRST she refused to even let us know how long it would take. $300 to have emotional trauma and a horrible day. The driver himself was a rude, ****** old man who was extremely unresponsive and asked us what we wanted him to do about it, and couldn't even check his GPS without getting out of his run down truck. If you love your pet even a little bit and want to send them off with respect and dignity DO NOT EVER use this "company." These people belong in jail and they know it. They NEED to be shut down. SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of pet owners during their most vulnerable time.

      Due to a bad phone connection, when I called and spoke to ****** I heard a total cost of $850.00 for home euthanasia and cremation/urn for my cat. During the conversation I mentioned several times that she was breaking up and that I couldnt hear her clearly. After I picked up my cat from the veterinary hospital and brought him home, he was doing better. Called Rainbow to Heaven and told **** that we will postpone the service and use it when needed in the future, to which she agreed. Then I asked for a receipt via email. Received the email and these scammers had charged $1,854.00 to my ***** The initial phone call was recorded and supervisor ****** attached that to the email to prove that they had quoted $1800.00. Now they want $250.00 to cancel their services which we never used and wont. Had I heard the initial broken up phone conversation clearly, I would have never agreed to paying their exorbitant fee. Their rates are double the going rate for these services, and they are Not Veterinarians, but rather third party brokers who prey on vulnerable distraught pet lovers!!! ****** refuses to refund my **** unless I pay them the $250.00 even though we called to postpone at least 4 hours prior to the appointment time. Beware and do not use this company!!!

      This company puts there employees in danger by demanding that they respond to text messages within 5 minutes while they are driving putting their employees at risk and others on the road at risk. if thru dont respond right away they will call them expecting them to pick up their phone while they are driving. Instead of offering a radio system which would be much safer and efficient. they expect employees to jump through hoops with last minute changes ahd can't even pay them on time consistently often times paying 1 to 2 days later than they are supposed to. Checks even bounce sonstimes as well. They have no hr department either and will threaten to fire you if you don't put yourself in danger and answer text messages while driving. This company treats their employees horribly. They figure they can get away with it but I think they need to be put on blast for this.

      I am writing this review solely on the custom service and pick up time discrepancy not regarding the cremation and the paw print display! I am a military wife and live in a secluded base with limited resources. Unfortunately my older dog passed away and our vet on base recommended rainbow to heaven as there point of contact to cremate the dog. It took me a couple days to come to terms with the idea and call them. I called them on 5/18 to set everything up and they said as early as that Friday or later Thurs. I said okay that's okay. I paid for everything and confirmed information. I asked for the itemized email or everything I paid for didn't receive it. I did not get any call or confirmation so I called them on 5/22 and asked for the itemized list. She stated she didn't know when they will pick up but will call back and did not. I did not want to ****** but at the same time my baby was sitting in the vet clinic until they pick her up I didn't want her to stay too long. I called back on 5/30 the front desk stated she would find out why they didn't pick her up yet usually it would be quick (they claimed) and will call back and did not. I am now getting annoyed but still trying to keep it calm. I called back on 6/3 ( I was leaving for a cruise and wanted to confirm when the pick up will be or if they can get my mom number to call if they do pick up cause we will not have service ) She informed me that Wednesday would be the day they will get her. I said okay no worries just call my mother so she can receive the package. We were gone for a week still no call no pick up because I called the vet clinic. They were shocked too by the delay in receiving her. On 6/15 they picked her up however never called me stating that they got her which I requested and would assume they would due to the lack of communication they gave me. I received her on 7/25 and it's funny because they paper states she was picked up on 5/22 and was not.

      My pets remains were mailed to me in a box!! This was not how the process was sold to us. We called after 7 days and no one could tell us anything and said we should hear back shortly. However, based off the postmark, he was already in the mail!! All the talk about treating my pet with respect ends once they receive payment. We are deeply saddened by this lack of respect and would never recommend this service.

      The WORST experience I've ever had with a company . They need to change their name to Rainbow to **** . My 95 yr old mothers beloved cat passed **** recently . I reached out to this company to have our precious pet picked up and cremated. Every step of the way mishaps were made ( except for taking our money) . The company inputted the wrong pick up address, even though I called a couple of times to make sure they had the right one . There is no continuity with this company.Totally unprofessional. RTH does not supply drivers with anything to carry a small animal in . So they carried our cat out in a towel . The company gave no invoice or information as to services or timeline etc. I called 4 different times to ask for an invoice and was told it works be sent . It never was . I called again and spoke with a " manager " who assured me that our cats ashes would be delivered to the address I gave . Still no invoice . I receive an email from the courier company that our pets ashes are being delivered to THE WRONG ADDRESS ! Again , this is after I've given the right address numerous times . Who knows if the ashes will be recovered and I'm still waiting for a call back . I just wanted to warn anyone who loves their pet to go somewhere else if they want professional and compassionate ******* . This company isn't it !!!

      At first everyone at Rainbow to Heaven was really nice and they quickly came to recover my dog's remains. But after I paid for a shadow box with his paw print along with his picture, it took almost 3 months for them to ship it to me. I had to call and ask and only then did they ask for my address to mail out. Then once I received it, it was obvious the paw print didn't belong to my dog. My dog had nails and you couldn't see them in what was sent to me and his paw print was much larger then the ones I received. I was so disappointed I called to complain and they said they'd call me back but never did. This company prides themselves on handling our pets with dignity but my experience made my loss for my best friend even worse. Taking my pet away was appreciated but sending me someone's else's paw print after I paid $100 for mine was despicable.
