    ********** ********** was shipped an ****** light on *** *** **** for repair. The cost of the light was $**** and to ship the light to the company was ***** There were several back and forth emails in regards to what services were needed and confirmation that the item was received by the company California Lightworks for repairs. There was no follow up emails from the Company ********** ********** for several weeks since the last email was sent early June about the status of the the repair or if/ when the light was to be shipped out. Today **** ** **** a follow up email was sent to the company California Lightworks to learn the status of the repairs as the item ( lights ) have been in the company's possession for over a month now. Said company sent over an email response to my previous ticket request to them first stating " The light you sent in for repair is a ******* " confirming the item I sent to them and that it was received and then stating in the next email " FedEx Package 1 Tracking #: XXXXXXXXXXXX 1 x **** ************* ******* A ***** ********* who is over ******** Sales & **** Support sent a follow up email after I confirmed the item description to their company email that the return package with the item was "It was shipped and delivered to: *** Excellent *** ********** Lane Stone ********* ** XXXXX" I promptly informed Mr. ***** ********* via our email conversation that "I just tracked that package and you sent it to a incorrect address! The item was shipped from **** ***** Drive ******** *** It was hand written on the box." California Lightworks was then contacted via phone to resolve the issue of the incorrect shipping address. I was connected with Mr. ***** ********* (ext. ********* he apologized who connected me to the Office Manager ******* (ext. ***** Upon relaying to ******* the issue she began to speak to me in a condescending tone about the matter and hung up on me. She was extremely rude and denied me any further information.

    I purchased products (SS550) with a 5 year in-**************, 1 year later when I had a issue, the product was replaced in-house at point of purchase as promised.4 years into my 5 year warranty a second light fails and they change there warranty and make me ship the light to them fore repairs and pay to return ship back to me. almost $400 .00 in shipping (****** - *** and back} to fix my light Changing Warranty policy and NOT honoring your Original Warranty purchased with product is BAD BUSINESS

    Sorry you had this bad experience. Our products are designed to be super reliable. We have over ****** lights in the field and our failure rate has been less than 1%. For our product to fail twice within a 5 year period is highly unusual to say the least. Our warranty policy has not changed and is more generous than any other company. We not only repair/replace any product free of charge during the warranty period but we also pay the shipping to and from during the first year. For years 2 through 5, we ask that you ship the light to us and we'll cover the return shipment. Normally, shipping cost in the US is around $20 for your SS550 so this has not been an issue for any other customer. For ******, we used to work with a distributor who aggregated all shipping including warranty repairs. This made it less expensive. Unfortunately we are no longer working with that distributor. That explains why you were asked to pay for the shipping back to forth to the US. According to the *** support team, we only asked you to pay US $92 to cover our actual shipping cost back to you in ******. And according to the hydro store that's handling this issue on your end, it cost them less than CAD $100 to ship the unit to us. So I'm not sure why you spent $400 in shipping cost. Regardless, we want to make sure you have the best experience with our lights. Feel free to contact our customer support and we can give you store credit for all your shipping expenses.
