Gave a $300 (deposit and prepaid services to lock in promotional pricing). Pricing was provided at a bridal convention via verbal and flier. They emailed a written contract two weeks later with higher prices than the flier and verbal agreement. I would not sign the contract with the changes increased pricing and extra fees. They refuse to give deposit back despite no services rendered. Services were for a tentative date for make up and hair event. No loss on their part and tentative date was roughly next year. They decided to give me store credit of $300. Upon checking out my total came out to $300 +$7.00 shipping. I was prepared to pay the extra $7 but their code to allow me to use store credit didn't work. When they realized it was me, they increased the price and made the total an extra $140 on top of the $300 + $7.00 shipping. They will not accept the agreement and going against what was discussed. They've been caught in writing several times lying and changing agreements. They have tried different ways to scam me of more money. Enough is enough. They do not have a standing business- all over the phone and online. They cannot be reasoned with, which is why I need 3rd party involvement.Initial Complaint

I have tried calling, emailing, and reaching out this company regarding a reimbursement of my refundable deposit. They will not return any of my inquiries at all by phone, email, social medial message. I have tried every outlet to reach them. I paid a $120 refundable deposit fee 8 canceled services 8 months prior to the event.Business response

The request for refund did not occur two years ago. It has been a full 6 months on my end attempting to reach the company by any means possible with no response. Refund finally issued today thanks to using the better business avenueBusiness response

The client booked services in 2021, her services were cancelled and her refund was never processed in error. We received her complaint through the BBB and contacted her immediately to resolve the issue. Because her booking was so long ago, we were unable to process a refund through our current system as we upgraded systems in 2022. We offered her multiple refund options and she chose ***** as her refund method. She provided us with her Venmo account information to send her refund which we did within minutes of receiving that email. We sent her another email apologizing for her experience. We have done all that we can to resolve the issue. There is no remaining balance due and we have submitted proof of that. What else is required to resolve this issue?Customer response

Although the transaction was made in 2021, the request for refund happened Feb 22 which was 7 months prior to the businesses needed Cancelation date. This company has denied to honor any phone call, email, and multiple requests to be contacted. Even after the date needed for refund the company refused to comply or respond. The reason for my contacting the BBB now is to give them every option possible before and after the refund date to comply. This company is operating illegally to their provided contract regulationsBusiness response

The customer filed a complaint because she did not receive a refund. When we saw the complaint we contacted her and issued the refund within 24hours. We have submitted proof of the refund. We do not understand why this case is still open when the clients resolution request was a refund and that request was met.Initial Complaint

I scheduled a hair and makeup vendor for my upcoming wedding and rehearsal dinner.Due to their unprofessional customer service, I decided to go with a different vendor.I paid multiple deposits including the following:$200+$125+$125 = $450 total There was no service provided. Their policy states that if you cancel at least 30 days before your event date that all deposits are fully refunded. I canceled on 7/18/22 which is almost 60 days from our Wedding on 9/10/22. I have sent 4 emails and left multiple voicemails that have not been answered or returned. I have no other option at this point but to submit this complaint.
