Booked 3 hotel room reservations through my membership portal on July 20, 2023 for July ***** and paid in full for each reservation. $257 x 3 = $771 Total with World Vacation Network. Upon arrival and check-in, the hotel had many issues with no hot water being the biggest one of all including other problems such as pest, non-working microwave, refrigerator, etc. Due to the conditions, the hotel agreed to refund one of the rooms on Friday, July 21st because my guest refuse to stay and left. A week passed by and I called World Vacation Network to inquire about my refund. I was told the hotel denied my refund. I called the hotel and spoke with the manager and refreshed her memory of how I received a verbal authorization on Friday night while having World Vacation Network on the phone that I would receive a full refund. The hotel told me the refund was processed on Monday, July 24 and sent back to Priceline. I told them I did not book through Priceline and booked through my membership portal with World Vacation Network. I was informed the *** used Priceline to book my reservation. It's been almost a month and I've had at least 5 conversations and one including a 3-way call with the hotel verifying that my refund was granted and sent back to Priceline on July 24, 2023. World Vacation Network consistently tell me a different story each time I call to inquire about why I haven't received my refund. They tell me at different times the back office is handling it, they are not able to reach the hotel, the hotel denied my refund, basically something different each time I call. This is very frustrating especially so when the hotel has confirmed multiple times that my refund was sent back to the method used for the reservation. World Vacation Network is deceiving and the level of customer service is unacceptable especially since I pay a yearly membership. If I would have known they use Priceline there wouldn't have been a need to pay for a membership. I just want my money back.
