I brought my 2007 Prius in to have the front brakes done. When I dropped the car off there were no warning lights on and the brakes were working fine. When I picked up the car there were 3 warning lights on (brake light, *** light, and VSC light). I mentioned it to the mechanic and he said that oh they were already on (not true). I drove the car and the *** is not working now and the brake pedal is stiff, unsafe to drive.Business response

I took my 2011 ***** Civic for an Oil Change on Friday 1/7/22. Oil Change took about 1 hr and 20 min. After I left my car started to leak oil, I went back and they said oil plug is stripped and they provided me with temporary solution however damage is permanent and needs to be fixed by a mechanic. They said this might happened during the oil change but they said no one is to blame. My car was and is serviced regularly at Jiffy Lube, and never leaked any oil. In addition before they started working on my car there was no mention about any issues with oil leak, or any notification of existing issue.This is very emotional for me as I do long distance driving and I'm afraid to drive. I called ***** dealer and in order to get it fix, they quoted me about $700 plus all the incontinence (stress, rental car and time).
