I hired Diego Painting to paint the exterior of my home. They agreed to replace my windows frames as well, Barely a year later,, as I was replacing my bathroom window, I realized that the inside of the window frame was rotten. Diego painting simple put new window frames over rotten wood on 11 windows at my house. Ive had to redo all the windows. I paid them $2100 for this job. He has refused to give me the entire portion of this bill.Business response

Hello,
This customer hired ******************** to paint her house that we did very well. In addition, she wanted us to change her windows' frames but she told us that she didn't have the money for that job. I offered her a payment plan for that service. Contrary to our recommendation, she refused to have us change the rotten wood and said to my employee "No money No money just leave it like that" Months later, she called and told me that her window wood was rotten and I remembered her own words saying "just leave it like that". But, Diego Painting always strives for satisfaction for our customers. Even though for us, that job was closed, after a few calls and text messages, we agreed to settle for $700 that I paid upon her texted request. Now she is requesting, very unfairly, $1,400 additional.
We, at the time, very clearly made her aware that the wood needed to be replaced, but she refused due to lack of funds.
