i purchased a car from the car connection in ***********, ** on October 28,2023 was the final purchase date of the sell. I have found out they sold me the car without having a safety check inspection on the car. At first, I saw pictures of the car because it came from the auction, and they went to pick it up. they told me no accidents and 2 owners for **** and I said ok sounds good. i gave them about **** because that's all I had at the time waiting for my check to deposit the full amount, they bring the car and i see it with my dad I saw the bumper on the right front side a little falling off chance the sells man said he would fix that, he never did. I got in the car it said remote key battery needed to be changed, ****** said he had another key it was fine he would give me the spear key; he never did. we went on the test drive, and it said transmission malfunction and he tried to blame it on me. I asked about getting my money back that had already given but he said it was nonrefundable, he said he would have his mechanic look at it and fix it. And when my dad checked out the car, he saw it had a leak on the bottom i told chance about it, but he denied it and said there were no leaks and the car was getting fixed by his mechanic, and it was low on transmission fluid. I said could I bring my mechanic to check out the car he said yeah but the money I had already gave was nonrefundable even if I brought a mechanic to check out the car and it was messed up saying either I don't get my money back or get that car or another car i didn't want that they had. I was so frustrated and needed a car already I didn't know what to do because they had already taken some of my money, I needed to get a car with. ****** assured me the car was in good condition and there were no leaks, and his mechanic was fixing the problem. When I went to go get the car it was driving good, but I later found out it was only ok then because they put a little bit of transmission fluid in. I took it to the mechanic to see what the leak was and they told me it was an oil pan gasket leak I told chance and he told me he would not help me and it was a AS IS contract and it was in good condition when it sold it to me which was a lie that was on November 17 not even 30 days after getting the car and he tried to say he doesn't know what I did to the car trying to blame me once more then blocks me. on November 27 I took it to European auto to get transmission fluid and they told me it had a broken transmission and whoever recently put transmission oil which was the car connections mechanic didn't know what they were doing and didn't put it in right so I was riding on low transmission fluid not knowing till it was having a hard time shifting the *** place said it had been like that for a while now and to talk with the people I got the car from but I know they were not going to do anything because he had already told me and blocked me. I sent a demand letter to them, and they still will not do anything to help me knowing they sold it to with leaks and needing brakes and tires so I will be taking them to small claims court, but I want everyone to know what kind of business they are running it is not right what they are doing. if they had their mechanic look at it then they would've saw the leak and I know they did but ignored it and were just trying to make a quick buck it is obvious to me now. All I want is for them to pay my repairs because the car already took up all my money and is still costing me now even more it is really not right what they are doing. I paid about ***** with taxes and all.
