I came to Discount Tire Center in Cathedral City, CA to have my brakes replaced. They did the job from what they said but I noticed the brakes were rubbing/grinding the next day. I returned to tell the associate the problem weeks later. They tried to charge me for a new set of brakes. I DO NOT think they did the job AT ALL the first time. I called corporate and complained and they directed me to their Yucca Valley location. At the Yucca Valley location they said they were going to DO ME A FAVOR and help me with my problem and i EXCEEDED the miles on the warranty. I told them the warranty doesn’t have anything to do with the brakes not being replaced correctly the first time. I wouldn’t be at their store AT ALL if the job was done correctly. I regret coming to discount tire center. They robbed me of close to $1,000 the first time while my brakes continued to grind after they “did the job”. My brakes are worse than when I came in the first time and are still unrepaired. I left the discount tire center without them repairing the brakes because of the dissatisfaction i had with their service. They are a terrible business and I will never return again. I will also let others know to NEVER go to their stores. If possible I would like a complete refund for the money I spent so I can take it to a shop who’s competent enough to do the job and not STEAL MY MONEY. Unfortunately I do not have receipts but they were able to pull it up on their network. Thank you and I hope to hear back soon.Business response

Mr ***** ***** was in our location and did purchase a brake service that he approved and he did receive on 4/25/22 this had a 18 month or 18000 mile warranty whichever comes first.
The customer has traveled in excess of 19,377 miles since his service in several months. And is beyond his warranty. Even though the customer is beyond his warranty for customer satisfaction reasons only our store in Yucca Valley offered to replace the parts at no charge and just charge him the labor and he declined. Customer is not entitled to any further warranty and has exceeded the mileage expected on his repair. Our Vice President has already spoken to customer and let him how of options but customer has declined all options.
