Brought my VW bug because the EPC engine light was on with an acceleration problem. Over $400 JUST to run diagnostic!!! No choice, agreed to proceed telling them specifics on the problem. After work done, I picked up the car and was given a thumbs up all was good. This came AFTER i asked about the EPC light. The EPC light was still on and the very next day the acceleration problem returned. Adding insult to injury, the center arm rest was CACKED with God know what, black crusty rough gunk. I took it back telling them the light was still on and acceleration didn't change. The 4th of July weekend passed. I was told it was a new problem and would need a new DIAGNOSTIC because it was unrelated to the original issue. When I said there was no difference from my original concern, they reiterated that it was a different issue and that, ALL OF A SUDDEN, "Your car has so many problems it's hard to tell what needs done." WTF! really!?!?! It's summer here now and I am type 1 diabetic, (extremes can literally kill me) so I had no choice to pick it back up with documentation of what was done. The attitude was a shoulder shrug. Oh well.
