Our pool was constructed this past winter and there were concerns about the care taken from the start. The pool was completed in February. To begin, the adhesive materials used were left along the center tile line. It was not clearly a whole pool problem until chemicals were added and the adhesive reacted, turning white and gummy along the center of the tiles and up under the plastic edging. I have had to spend my summer with a scrapper, scraping it up. I believe a portion of this is duct tape reside from the plastic they taped to the tile at one point. We selected the darkest gray that was offered. Nothing was mentioned at that time about our selection. Since the completion of the pool, it has been chalky white. From what Ive gathered, this can be due to calcium being added during the application process. Either way, I have spent a fortune to combat the issue with no results. The pool looks embarrassing. Had there been a concern over the color and potential results, we should have been made aware. There is a discolored blob in the center of our pool that looks like a spill that doesnt match the the color selected. It has been there since day one. The concrete work is ok, but the initial cracking has me worried. One particular place it is growing thicker and thicker. I brought this to their attention and was told it was not a concern. The foundation poured for our pump was placed at an angle and is sinking further. Why it was not leveled before setting up the pump? After completion, I had to ask for additional clean **** because they didnt fully clean the debris from the yard. Due to the digging process, we are four -6 inches below our neighbors. Through the spring, water flowed from all around into the pool. After leaving us with no back fill, I had to bring in two trucks of dirt just to adjust the level of the area their initial dig was started at. Not to mention the shotty attempt to reattach our fence. Some spots had one s**** holding it together.
