I contracted Dewey's Stucco to place stucco around two areas of my home- the front of my house and a small patch in the back of the garage- in early July 2022. During the installation of the stucco, the laborers made holes in the bedrooms of my children. I asked ***************** to repair those areas, which he said he would do. He said he would patch them up and paint over them as well, but he didn't do so. The day ***************** turned in the job completed, it was nightfall and so it was difficult to see how the job had turned out. The next morning, my spouse and I checked the stucco and noticed a lot of inconsistencies. The stucco was applied very unevenly, creating what looked like dents in the walls. I called the company, but didn't get a response so I texted *****************, asking if he could come take a look and fix the areas where there were disparities. He answered after a week and gave me a time that he was available to come. We set the date, except he didn't come at the time we scheduled. Instead he came on another day when I wasn't home, without letting me know ahead of time, and made a mess on my front yard. Their laborers destroyed areas of the front yard. They crushed our plants and left nails all over the grass and dirt, which was a safety hazard for my family and I. The stucco had cracks in a lot of areas so I asked him again to come do some repairs. He came and placed cement in the areas where the stucco was uneven. After two weeks, he claimed that everything had been repaired, but the material he used on the repairs had even more cracks and had a texture which differed from the rest of the house. I sent ***************** a text message to let him know the installation wasn't done properly and sent him pictures of the areas there was still issues with, but he never answered me back. Overall, I was very disappointed with the progression of the job, and don't believe that it was done properly.
