      I contracted with Cuckoo for water purifier 36 months but after contract the company withdrawal money (ACH) from my checking account with notification.I contacted to company with my contract paper for contract was ended but they were not answer to me, so I had to arrange stop payment from my checking account. The contract was ended in Nov. 2022. I tried to contact to company so many times, but I didn't get any answer.I just want to refund after contract, please review the attached supporting documents.

      Pressure cooker ordered June 12 2023, on June 24th when it had not arrived I went to the *** store that said it was ready for pick up via the tracking number. At the store they said they did not have the package. I opened a case through PayPal. I received a call on or about June 26 saying that they were able to verify that the package was at the store. I went on June 28th and the store no longer had it as it was returned to shipper. Company will not issue a refund until the PayPal case is closed because they believe it makes them look bad.

      I purchased a Cuckoo rice cooker (model CRP-HY10) and the inside of the pot started to peel and the material which seems to be a teflon-like material comes off and gets into the rice. I thought at first that there was only one area but after a short period many other areas of the pot began to peel off. We only wash the pot with a light rag and soap, never a scrub. We probably only use the rice cooker once a week and this should not be happening. Unless the surface of the pot is edible this seems as though it could be hazardous. I called Cuckoo office in ******** and they would not give me a replacement pot or a refund to purchase another rice cooker. The pot surface must be defective because I am certain that they would not continue selling them if this happens to all their rice cookers. Please help me, my request is not unreasonable and am not trying to get something that they should not be willing to do. If the product is harmful then they need to step up and make it right. Thank You

      Hi,

       

      This is a customer of our distributor and has to be resolved directly with them. We haven't been selling this rice cooker for years.

      Also, the customer reached out to us previously asking to purchase a replacement inner pot for his rice cooker and we told him that we do not have it in stock at the moment.

      Our inner pot has average life span of about 3 years so this claim is unreasonable as well.

      I am rejecting this response because: The company previously responded to my complaint with a lame and unacceptable response that the product's life is only good for "3 years" and that they have not sold the product for years and also that the complaint should be with the "distributor"....The complaint is with the sub-standard product that they manufacture and are selling in the US, that is inferior and possibly health hazardous. However, I did not receive the initial response from BBB and the claim was subsequently closed. I wish to continue with my claim and want the company to refund or replace the product with one that is no defective.       We understand your frustration. Our product is known to last long, but as it is electronics, it's lifespan depends on the usage.

      Our product has 1 year limited manufacturer's warranty and the inner pot is available for purchase.

      It is currently out of stock on our website, but when it is expected to be back in stock in about two month or so.

      My mother gifted me a cuckoo rice cooker. It retails for over $500 with tax. The model number is ********** The inner pot claims to be made out of stainless steel both inside and out And it has a nonstick coating. The coating puffed up on the one My mother gifted me And dislodged from the pot. So I removed the coating Since I believed the pot was stainless steel and could still be used to make rice. However when I removed the coating the inner pot was completely rusted which means it cannot possibly be stainless steel. If you go to the website and look at the sales information for this model number rice cooker it's marketing claims to be stainless steel inside and out. And that is a lie. I can no longer use this $ 500 rice cooker and I believe it is a health hazard. I have pictures to prove this claim. I am completely ********* and can't believe they claim this rice cooker is good for your health in their advertising and the inner pot is stainless steel inside and out. It is false advertising and I would like a refund or a new rice cooker where the inner pot is really made out of stainless steel. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Our company, KEY ******** is actually one of the ********************** of ****** products. We do not handle any transaction from *** (Business to ********* basis or the marketing rights. Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/04/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My Mother has passed away. I am not sure exactly where she purchased this item. But my understanding is it was purchased at the cuckoo store in Los Angeles when she went to visit her sisters who live there. And then she brought it back to me. My understanding is there is a cuckoo store in or around Koreatown in Los Angeles and that is where it was purchased. And you're cuckoo website allows for direct purchase. So I think your response is not accurate. Everyone can buy directly from your website which I have noted And provided pictures of in this complaint. Your website notes the item to be made out of stainless steel both inside and out for the inner pot. And that is clearly not the case and it is a fraudulent claim. And that is illegal in this country. I would like either a full refund or this item with an inner part that really is made out of stainless steel both inside and out.
