I rented Unit 2 # *** at Waterstone apartments ( *************************************************** )Our Move out was 6/8/23.We had front office staff look through the apartment and we were given a thumbs up for cleanliness prior to leaving.I told front office staff the forwarding address so they could send us our security deposit. I have still not received my security deposit of $1000 almost six months later.I have emailed their office manager multiple times and called multiple times, but the front office staff seems powerless and unable to send me the check. I have been told multiple times that the check will come from corporate.I have been spending too much time and energy following up with them and I really need help getting my security deposit back. I have videos as well but they are not uploading for some reason. We moved into these apt two weeks ago. We were so excited, as we wanted to move in last year but chose another complex due to price. Anyway, we moved in and have had nothing but issues. Roaches all over the place, our dishwasher had to be replaced due to infestation of roaches inside it, and out new one makes loud noises. Our ac wasn't working and they "fixed it" but is still not cooling right. We have a loud noise coming from a random wall in our apartments that they say is from the ac unit but we have lived in numerous apartments and none have every made noises like this nor had this many issues. Our dryer still isn't working after they "fixed it", our mail and house keys don't work, my husband finally got a replacement key for apt. We were unable to sleep in our new place the first two nights we moved in due to the roach issues and we have had several meals where roaches have crawled across our dinners. Our unit was never cleaned before we moved in. I had to clean most of it myself and then two weeks later they finally got someone out to clean everything but didn't send anyone until after we showed proof. This has been absolutely terrible and besides the pest control continuing to come every two weeks they think everything is "resolved". This is the worst complex we have stayed at and we are paying two grand a month. We simply want to be reimbursed for having to clean everything ourselves and not being able to stay in the unit the first few nights.
