    Alert:
According to BBB files, this company offers office supplies by telemarketing. Our records show that the company has a pattern of complaints concerning consumers receiving products they did not order and being billed for them.  On April 24, 2023 the BBB contacted the company regarding our concerns about the amount and the pattern of complaints we have received. Unfortunately, the BBB did not receive a response.

Per FTC guidelines "1. Know your rights. If you receive bills for goods and services you didn't order, don't pay. The law allows you to treat unordered goods and services as a gift. Double-check, however, to make sure that an honest mistake hasn't been made.
    2. Review your phone bills as soon as they arrive. Be on the lookout for charges for goods and services you haven't ordered or authorized. If you find an error on your bill, follow the instructions on your statement for filing a dispute.
    3. Assign purchasing to designated staff. And document all your purchases.
    4. Train your staff in how to respond to telemarketers. Advise employees who are not authorized to order goods and services to say, "I'm not authorized to place orders. If you want to offer or sell us something, you must speak to __________."
    5. Buy from people you know and trust. Authorized employees should be skeptical of "cold" or unsolicited calls and feel comfortable saying "no" to high-pressured sales tactics.
    6. Check out the organization with the Attorney General or Better Business Bureau in your state or the state where the organization is located before you send any money for any product or service. This is not foolproof: there may be no record of complaints if an organization is too new or has changed its name.

    Advertising Review:

On April 24, 2023, BBB Serving Los Angeles and Silicon Valley requested that the business modify or discontinue claims on the company's website, https://towerimaging.bizThe business advertises “100% Performance Guarantee” and “100% Performance Guaranteed.”

The BBB Code of Advertising also states, “20.1 When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request. 20.2 Advertisers should only use “satisfaction guarantee,” “money back guarantee,” “free trial offer,” or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request. 20.3 When “satisfaction guarantee” or similar representations are used in advertising, any material limitations or conditions that apply to the guarantee must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. 20.4 When advertising “lifetime” warranties or guarantees or similar representations, the advertisement must clearly and conspicuously disclose its intended meaning of the term “lifetime.” 20.5 Sellers or manufacturers should advertise that a product or service is warranted or guaranteed only if the seller or manufacturer promptly and fully performs its obligations under the warranty or guarantee.”

While the business initially responded to BBB and made some modifications to their website, as of May 22, 2023, the business has failed to modify or discontinue the advertised claims to comply with the BBB Code of Advertising.

Same scam as all other reviews. They call to offer free toner, take down the name of the person answering the phone and confirm the address and the copier info. They then send one free sample and a $25 unmarked gift card as a "thank you." A few weeks later we received a large box of over priced toner that we then paid for as we thought someone ordered it. They wait a bit, then sent another order with another employees name that they received from calling the office. We have one copier and would never need this amount of toner, ever. This second order was never taken out of the box. It took several phone calls and emails to argue that we didn't order it and needed to return it. They provided a return label and we sent it back. They've been calling and emailing about a $400 rebate for the returned product that they apparently sent and would like us to "reimburse" them for. They threaten collections, etc. The phone calls and emails are ridiculous.
