Work with SCCCI started October 13 when they came to our house to do demolition on our kitchen, bathroom, den, dining room. Completely gutting kitchen leaving the sink as WE requested and thank goodness we did, we've been without a kitchen October 2021 to date. Painting started and it was a whirlwind at first. Outside painters came to paint and ended up not securing the backyard fence and my german shepherd got out and was killed by a car. MY HEART IS BROKEN. I AM DEVASTATED BY THE LOSS OF MY BEST FRIEND. Still we continued with SCCCI. Painting was completed and then communication came to a dead stop as well as the work. We've been patient with this company but they keep making excuses for the next step in completing the project and they keep putting the job off. We need BBB to help us in getting this project completed. PLEASE HELP. We are at our wits end not knowing what to do next.Initial Complaint

Promised me they would use quality material s to match what I had. " unlike other companies, we don't replace with cheap materials" Replaced part of my redwood gate with cheap and chipped pine. Rebuilt the gate in a way that it can't completely open. Gate spring is in the wrong place. Promised the job would be done in *** ***** so I could hang Christmas lights and I needed to sign now because they need workers to work over the holidays to feed their families. Sadly, I believed them. Promised work would be completed 1 week before Christmas. Small house. Haven't seen anyone in 13 days or heard from anyone in 11 days. We're heading into week 5. Nobody responds to calls. I've already paid ***** for terrible customer service. The only person worth trusting here is the painter. Seller and project manager are non responsive. Sadly, they will absolutely take advantage of a single person. Shame on them. They charged me for an extra 12 inches dug around my house when it's actually 3-4 inches. There's literally nobody that you can talk with. Need refund for the 9" all the way around the house that wasn't done, gate done appropriately as they promised, project completed. Or, just refund my money and I'll hire people that actually want to work. ******, the painter, is great. Otherwise, Such a scam.
