    Lagree fitness sells exercise equipment. Their website advertised a sale on items. Upon checkout for 3 small items, the shipping amounted to almost $40 (shipping, not shipping and handling) . The items received weighed less than 3 lbs. The shipping label showed FedEx charged Lagree only paid $12.76 to ship the items but I was charged $39.64. When I contacted Lagree to credit me the difference, they claimed $39.46 was the amount it costs which was clearly not true. They fraudulently charged me extra shipping to pocket the difference, under the auspice of FedEx shipping cost. No, their website or receipt did not say handling costs. They called it shipping cost.

    I am writing to lodge a complaint against Lagree (Lagree YYC) for unfair business practices, poor customer service, and unjustified price increases. My goal is to obtain a full refund for all payments made to Lagree.Background:I have been a member of Lagree for over a year and have purchased multiple 20-class packs. Recently, Lagree increased the price of my unlimited membership from $372.74 to $419.99, a 12.68% increase, without notifying me. Despite checking all my emails, I did not receive any notification.Additionally, the 6am class on Mondays has been canceled multiple times without alternative solutions, impacting the 8:15am class availability. I suggested adding a 7am class, but my feedback was dismissed. Nearby studios with similar services offer a 7am class.Lagree stated the price increase was to cover costs for opening a new studio, which should not affect existing members. This has created a negative environment for both members and staff. Discussions with other members indicate shared frustration and plans to downgrade memberships or leave Lagree. Many members agree that the price increase is unjustified and unaffordable. Several members have mentioned they will likely downgrade to the 12-pack option.Current Situation:After raising these concerns, Lagrees response was to terminate my membership without warning. They refunded only this month's payment but also canceled all my pre-booked classes, including additional classes (at least 5-6) that I had paid for before the membership. This abrupt action, taken without resolving my issues or giving proper notice, has significantly disrupted my schedule. This is not an appropriate way to handle a customer complaint.Request:I request a full refund of all payments made to Lagree, including the cost of additional classes. Addressing these concerns and valuing member feedback can significantly improve the overall experience for everyone.Thank you for your attention to this complaint.******************
