My name is ********************************, my son ********************************* attends Little Discoveries Preschool East Avenue. Yesterday, July 19, 2023, I went to the school to ascertain information regarding my access to the video camera and the emergency checklist I learned his mother was allowed to verbally request that I be removed from the camera access to monitor his daily activities and placed me at the bottom of the emergency card contact list after four (4) other individuals. This change was done by the school without a court order or any facts to corroborate her request.We are in a contenous custody battle and to be subjected to this treatment without a court approval, an order of protection, or a restraining order is frustrating. Tohavethese changes put in place by the school staff is even more upsetting and disturbing. I am not asking the school staff to become involved in the custody proceedings, in fact, I am actually asking that the school staff remain out of the situation and restore my access to the camera video and place my name back on the emergency contact listnextto his mothers and above all other individuals on the emergency contact listed. In essence, restore my access to where it was prior to this unauthorized change.As his father, I currently have shared custody of my son and it is frustrating that I am subjected to this treatment from the school staff without any documentation from the court. I was concerned of why she was allowed to change my address without proof; essentially changing it to her mother's address, so I would not receive any communication. The fact the school staff choose to allow her to make these changes without verification speaks volumes. Any information that has been provided to the school restricting my access should have been done by a court order, I have done nothing to receive this kind of treatment from this establishment or the staff.Respectfully ***************************** **********************************************************************
