If I could give them a no star I would. They took three years to build a house that should have only taken three. They middle man their jobs our. The original contract price was only supposed to be $249k insurance company paid the amount and the still wanted $50k more to remove the mechanical lien on my h Property that was 28% interest on $50k. Don't give your business to these snake oil salesman. They will destroy you financial and mentally. They couldn't even clean it rite or build it right. Now I have to fix their s**** work.

Don't do business with this company. They are operating illegally in ********** by not providing estimates or contracts for customers and attempting to bill retroactively at hyper inflated above market rates and then threatening property liens when the invoice doesn't get paid in full by an insurance company. In addition, this company hires unskilled labors who damage property during their mitigation process. The entire process was **** with terrible communication, poor customer service, dishonest business practices and poor service quality.

We were sent an assignment/job lead by the insurance company to mitigate the water damage, we were not hired for or assigned to do any repairs. Mitigation is not completed under contractor law, license and regulations, as a license is not required to perform mitigation. The scope and cost of mitigation cannot determined until the full extent as to where the water has traveled is known. Then the salvageable building materials and drying time is affected by the atmospheric conditions, as well as the density or porousness of the wet materials. The dry down is also affected by windows/doors being left open and drying equipment being turned off by the homeowner or tenant. That is why estimates for mitigation are not provided prior to mitigation being completed.
Insurers dictate the pricing, as we are provided with a price list based upon the zip code of where the loss occurs. The insurance company then reviews our invoices, asks questions and makes changes if they do not think a certain charge is warranted.
All that said, in this case the insurance completed their review of our invoice and approved it on July 3, 2023. We have reached an agreed upon amount for the mitigation and that is the amount we are charging the customer and the customer is being paid.
In the course of mitigation, building finishes are sometimes damaged in order to dry out the structurethe framing, subfloor. There are times that furnishings are even damaged because they absorbed moisture before we arrived. We have not been provided a list of items the customer believes we ***********************, but would be happy to consider any damage the customer believes we might be responsible for causing. We would just need the opportunity to inspect the damage.

DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!October 24th, 2019 and we are still dealing with incompetent leadership. They installed peeling and splitting wood along our entire deck handrail and stairway. We noticed right away and verbalized our concern with how saturated the redwood was. It had sap leaking out everywhere and was wet to the touch. The workers had noticed and mentioned it to the Supervisor, ***. On numerous occasions, *** went back and forth trying to get the correct supplies the entire time. Always bringing the wrong things to our job site. Countless hours spent by the workers waiting for him to bring supplies and having to decline the materials because they were either not usable due to defect or incorrect. Verbally complaining that he just couldn't get it right. So we asked CRBR not to have him return and send ***** or someone else that was qualified to supervise our job. We asked several times, finally getting a promise to switch supervisors. But they didn'********** returned later in the job and brought the defective redwood to be installed. And they installed it in the spring of 2020. I told ****** ****** *** and everyone I was supposed to at CRBR that I could not stain the wood to protect it right away due to its defects. They told me they would send someone up to inspect it, even after sending them pictures of the peeling and cracking. We even had an in person meeting at their shop and at their request we signed completion documents for the job. ***** promised they would make it right. Instead they pushed us off longer and longer, until finally now. To inspect it they hired someone from the outside to come look at it and right a report on their findings. I'm sure you can come up with the rest...the report said due to neglect to stain and protect the wood it is now defective. WOW!! Imagine that, you pay someone to write a report the way you want. It's obvious they cared only to collect my insurance money and not me as the customer.
