On 8/19/2024, I called the place of business to schedule a massage. Her voicemail said I can book online. I booked online for Friday 8/23/2024 at 2:30pm, I didn't see an option to put that I had a gift card, so I put it in Additional Notes. My card was charged $140.00. When she called me back on 8/20/2024, she said I called her on Sunday and they are closed on Sunday, which was confusing...because I called Monday. So, I called Justina back and told her I had a gift card, but didn't see an option. She said that I can use it for a future massage. I asked her if I could cancel the appointment and get a refund, she said no - that it is their policy for no refunds. I told her that was not mentioned on the website or when I booked the massage. She said that is her policy. So, she is not refunding me. I officially cancelled my appointment with her and told her I was going to dispute the charge, I can't cancel or reschedule online.Business response

I am responding to a complaint that was filed on my business from *************************. It is our policy, when someone books online and wishes to cancel, we do not refund but credit is given, to be used at a later date. ****** called on one of the days we are closed Sunday or Monday. We contacted her Tuesday 8:38am as we do all missed calls. No answer, she called back minutes later. **************** booked online & payed for service on a day we are closed. ****** informed me she received a Gift Certificate as a gift and wanted to use it and be reimbursed. She was informed, that is not our policy. **************** call back and made statements about the policy not being on the site. ****** let me know she would dispute the transaction.
We open at 9:00am, I had clients. When I had free time in between clients. I made the decision to refund **************** for the massage session she looked online. As I've never had a client received a gift certificate then pay and book online. We canceled her massage session refunded her card back and sent her a copy via text. ****** responded back with Thank you very much.
