On 08/05 we did an oil change from Oil Changers we orginally came with a filter we bought from O'Rileys which they told us was the wrong filter and said they don't have our filter instock to go to AutoZone or a different O'Rileys and geta twist on filter... they said O'Rileys was out of stock so we went to AutoZone got the Oil Filter and brought it to them to install and do the oil change. They said we were done and we paid for the services provided and anything else we needed to pay for.08/08 My bf was driving from ***** to *********** to go and help his mom out. He manage to make it to ******** when he noticed the car smoking he then proceeded to pull off to the side just for the Check engine and oil light to come on and the engine to completely not work he then had to push it off for the rest of the way to get the car out of the way. We had the car towed back to our apartment in *****... then made contact with the store and the regional manager ********* who came out and did an inspection of the car at first he was Cooprative put more oil in and tried a different filter just for my car not to turn on at all he then left and called saying it's not their problem cause we were given the wrong Filter even though they are professional mechanics and installed it into my car resulting in complete damage to my engine. So I called AutoZones Manager who said it is the Oil Changers fault because you paid to have it put in. I Then called the **************** of Oil Changers who is I guess also **************** and talked to someone named **** he was soo rude on the phone I asked to speak to someone else because he was being rude and he hung up on me. My bf also tried calling and said my bf sounds childish and hung up on him as well. I do not have a working car and no one is taking resposibility I don't have any other form of transportation and now my bf can't come see his son or I because of this.
