At one point daily but now just once a week, maybe more, I'm contacts by whoop connect who uses the govts affordable connectivity program (acp). They constantly harass me to use data or else lose it even when I have used it. This program went bankrupt in February if this year and is waiting to run out of money I had to pay them for a "free" tablet and on top of that it's so old I get more use out of my phone that's 5 years old than I ever could out of this insanely slow useless tablet. They have misused govt funds advertising a brand new galaxy tab tablet with spam commercials and emails to all my accounts which made me want to apply without need to the program to begin with. This needs to be reported to the appropriate appropriations committee or any other govt agency dealing with acp funds. I do not want contact with the company. I don't associate with criminal organizations especially those who use my tax money illicitly

Signed up and was approved at the end of January by the FCC/*** for a $30 discount towards my ************ through Spectrum. My Spectrum *** App ID: ************ paid directly to Spectrum. Whoop claimed to be a third party with the FCC/***. Towards the end of February, was informed that the *** Program was going to be shut down at the end of April. Unexpectedly, received offer from Whoop Connect to see if I would be eligible for their program and in addition if approved, would receive a free tablet. Of course I was approved, but never gave them permission to send me a tablet. Whoop sent me several emails requesting my permission, but I ignored their emails. Tablet arrived, I opened the package and turned on the tablet. The only way the tablet would work, was to sign in through my Spectrum account. When I received my Spectrum bill for the month of April, noticed that my $30 funding was missing. Called Spectrum and was told that Whoop, swooped in and took the $30 to apply to their account, because I unenrolled from their Spectrum *** program. Informed Spectrum that I DID NOT voluntarily unenroll! Spectrum Rep said that before the Gvt shut the *** program down, they were able to reverse charges from other outside companies. Unfortunately, Whoop stole my last payment unbeknownst to me. Im retired, on a fixed income, live alone and feel that I was taken advantage of by Whoop. I am telling everyone I know about how underhanded this company is, so that they wont become a victim like me!
