To whom this may concern, I am Julieta **** IT Specialist. My Father ****** ******* and I are trustees of the home address **** ********** *** ******* We have worked with six different realtors in ***** ***** County, and they all use C**** ****** for entering home data. We have never officially signed any contracts with any agents. We added our own "facts and features" to websites like ******, redfin, and realtor.com. We noticed that ****** is limited to adding all facts and features, this home has never been in the system the algorithm had inaccurate estimates driving potential buyers away. We contacted the websites to ask them to enable the facts and features to enter accurate information. They said that the system in control of this is CRMLS ******. Since we do not have a license to log in to this we can’t enter accurate facts/features. The few changes that we had made on ****** did have an impact on the home. This increased 1.7million to a range of up to 2.06 million. We noticed that the price dropped back to the original 1.7 within a matter of days without showing the regular (- percentage%) red indication. We asked all websites to remove our home from their sites because it is evident that a third-party system is tampering with our home facts and features shown by the sudden price drop of over $300,000. Please be advised that ****** **** was provided with erroneous information with regard to the involvement of CRMLS. While our name is the California Regional Multiple Listing Service, we predominantly service real estate agents in ******** **********. I conducted a search for **** ********** **** *****y in our database, and we have no records or information about this property in our system. Additionally, I searched for each of the individual real estate licensees identified by Mrs. **** and all of them belong to a different MLS: MSListings, Inc. which is based in ***** ******
I left a message for Mrs. **** detailing this information. Please note that Mrs. **** is not a customer of CRMLS as we service only real estate agents, and have no interaction or relationship with any individual consumers or homeowners. I believe she was just given some erroneous information and made the assumption that since our name is California Regional MLS, that somehow we are responsible for all properties in the entire state, which is not true.
There is no action to be taken on our part since the property for which she has issues with is not in our system, nor are any of the agents that she identified in her letter subscribers of CRMLS. CRMLS will consider this matter closed in full and would like a confirmation from you that no negative action will be taken against CRMLS in this matter.
