              My husband and I have used ******* Zepeda to do our taxes in the past(at least the past 6 years for my husband) and he always answers his phone and text prior to meeting with him and paying him. After he is paid he stops answering but usually answers with in a few weeks... Well my husband wanted to continue to use him even after I said I did not like his lack of response. Get's us to this year we met with ******* at the Marriot in ****** on April 1st 2023 gave him all of our tax documents, receipts and everything else we had, all originals so now we have nothing to file our taxes with. Paid him the $500 to prepare out taxes left the meeting with him saying he would give us a call in about a week. We are almost 6 months later and have sent him text messages and phone calls and he will not respond. He answered my husband once and said I will have to call you back and hung up on him. Prior to him answering my husband and I started thinking maybe something happened to him. No, he is just ignoring us after taking our $500.

              Never returns calls. Never gives you paperwork. Bad customer service. Too expensive for what you get! Forgot to file my income tax on time.

              Former client writes a review 15 months after Efile of his tax returns. Due to Covid-19 the IRS filing deadline was delayed until May 18, 2021. Tax returns were filed May 10th prior to deadline. Filing was delayed due to former client's change in Marital Status due to spouse filing on her own to obtain separate Stimulus separate from client. Informed client of difficulties and change of his refunds that were obtained due to marital non-communications. Had to handle filings that contained wages and new startup business expenses. Produced tax returns with maximum deductions client was eligible for. Tax prep fees were far less than comparable CPAs or tax agencies would demand in his county as posted by tax prep websites due to similar schedules or forms required by the IRS and CA FTB. Client never scheduled followup appointment to obtain copies. I did not feel it was responsible to mail confidential tax documents to an address that may be temporary due to unstable marital situation that client informed me of during our conversations.
