Two gentlemen came to my home while I was out and my disabled husband and child were home, my husband was convinced of their story about getting kids out of the slums and got him to buy 4 bottles of soap/fluid for $55 each! When I got home I noticed the bottle itself says $40, the receipt says he was charged for items we didn’t receive. The bill was for $225 (which was the wrong math anyway with the bottles and stuff we were missing) and they had him use Venmo where they charged him more than the $225. I did the math and we were scammed of $71.95. The phone number on the receipt doesn’t exist, the website doesn’t work the receipt claims we can get our money back in 3 days using info on the back but it doesn’t have a back. Everything I’m finding says the business doesn’t even exist anymore. These men have been going around IDAHO and overcharging poor people who were swindled into a different product they are using to demonstrate. He’s dyslexic and can’t read numbers but wanted to help the cause they claimed. He told them over and over he should wait until I get home to take a look but they were persistent. They appeared legitment, having logos and official looking receipts covered in details that don’t exist. At this point I don’t even want the whole $231.45 he was charged since we got the “soap”. But the $71.95 we were overcharged for the product is $40 on the bottle and even Amazon! We were charged for an applicator? Which we didn’t receive either. I’m ready to file a police report as they’re taking advantage. Sure call him a sucker and trust me I’ve been mad at him. I would have let it slide if we weren’t overcharged
