Southwest Super League is a new Club soccer league that promised 10 competitive soccer games for a spring season. Our season was cut from 10 to 8 games before it even started and then our team only played 5 games as one team in our bracket never actually joined the league but the league left their games on the schedule as forfeits. We had a game on 4/27/24 where the other team never showed up and reached out to the league multiple times and never received a response. We finally were able to contact the other team and they had told the league earlier in the week they were forfeiting the game do to a tournament conflict that they had told them about before the season ever began and told they league they could not play this weekend. The league never communicated this too use so our entire team drove 40 minutes to the field just to not have a game and having paid $55 for field use for the game. At this point we have paid $580 in league and field fees for a league that was suppose to be 10 games and our team has only played 5 games. We should receive a 50% refund as we only played half the games we were scheduled. I have reached out to the league and they refuse to offer any sort of refund. This league is just taking peoples money and not providing the services they promised. We have showed up to games with none regulation fields and goals and using unlicensed referees. I have voiced my concerns to the league and they are condescending and do not care about any issues. They do not care about the safety of the kids and the integrity of the game and only care about their money. I have also reached out the citys they are renting the fields from and they are majority upcharging the teams. The City of ********* is renting them fields as a non profit at $17 but yet we are being charged $55 for the field? They claim this is admin fees but wasnt the league fees admin fees. We our asking for 50% of our fees back and also believe this organizations 501c should be looked into.
