My complaint is it’s been 31/2 months sents we moved and they still sent to send us our deposit witch is 2700 they keep giveing us the Tun around about it and won’t answer our callsBusiness response

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have had some technical difficulties getting this refund to the customer. Initially the deposit was incorrect and had to be corrected on our end. Once the correction was made, the company issued a deposit refund to the customer and can confirm that this check was cashed on 2/25/22 in the amount of $1,908.00. This is representative of her entire initial deposit. Then the customer argued that she was due additional funds. The property/company applied for Housing is Key ERAP funds to help this customer with her rent balance; these are the funds the customer argues are hers. While these funds belong to the state of California, we reluctantly issued the additional funds. Initially this check was issued and mailed to the customer from our offices in Chowchilla. The customer did not receive that check and we had to go through the stop payment process and reissue the check for a 2nd time. The next instance of the check was also mailed as stated, and again never received by the customer. We reissued again. That check was issued today and sent to her in the amount of $800.00.The check is slated to arrive to her 2nd day air to the address she provided.
In total this customer received a refund of $2,708.00, when in fact she was only due a total deposit refund of $1,908.00, representative of her initial deposit at move in.
I am unsure what the specifics are on the complaint. If I can be of better help, please let me know.
