I purchased the car August 5th, 2023 and still do not have plates and registration. I have contacted the dealership numerous occasions asking them what the hold up is, they said it all has to do with CA DMV, they are holding this up. But they continue to tell me they are working on this situation. I finally decide to go down to DMV to see what is taking so long and they tell me the car company does not have title to this car. It is fraud! I'm demanding a rescind of contract. I have been driving this car around for 7 months and it was never officially my car. I have purchased new tires and have been putting money into the car due to some electrical issues. I'm asking for the money back that I have put into the car and for them to buy back car.

Unfortunately sometimes these situations arrive on the *** side of registration.  However as you can see on the attachments, all *** registration and titling has been completed on the dealership side.  We have advise **************** that he might need to go to *** and clear the registration renewal, since is in "Suspense In Process".  *** has issued an extension to their renewal of registration and plates.  If this was any kind of Fraud as stated by the complainant, the lien holder would had already requested us to purchase back their contract.  It is unfortunate that this is happening, but it is out our hands at this point, all we can suggest is for the client to go to *** and keep checking the progress on the registration.  However Fraud is definitely not it.

Date of transaction: 2/2/2024 Dealership: Pacific Auto Center *************** Tacoma Sr 2020 Deposit amount: $3000 Finance amount: $22,473 Dispute:After signing all the papers, dealer made me wait over an hour to give me my car with no explanations as to why. Dealer did a poor job at disclosing and pointing out all the add-ons, perhaps done intentionally. In particular, I did not know I was going to be paying for a gps tracker and a theft deterrent protection. As I was driving, something fell from under the dash, which was the gps unit. The dealer didn't even bother to install it securely. I called the dealer back to see if I can refund the add-ons because I wasn't properly informed about this. The dealer said they won't refund me, and won't do anything other than mounting the gps correctly. As a customer, I felt like I have been taken advantage of, without informing me properly on what I was paying for. After the call, I got the feeling of being an undervalue customer. Sadly, other reviews also confirms their unethical practice.
