September 10, 2024 Dear Better Business Bureau,During the service provided by Becka Automotive, and second service visit completed 1/25/2024, my vehicle's engine stopped working. It stopped on the freeway. I have gotten a third party to look over the work done by Becka and they have let me know that the engine issues were very likely caused by Becka Automotive. My car is no longer drivable due to the damages caused. I have spoken with Becka Automotive directly to attempt to resolve this and they claim that it is not their responsibility and that they did not cause damage. Becka Automotive offered to replace the manifold and other parts they used based on warranty for that work, which melted. They were reluctant to do the work until after the Jeep dealership. I am requesting reimbursement for the damages Becka Automotive caused.On the invoice you will find it says they drained the cooling system. And immediately thereafter the vehicle overheated. My car overheated because somebody in the Becka Automotive mechanic shop left an air pocket in the cooling system. That is the only reasonable explanation why the radiator and or hoses exploded from undue pressure from air pocket. If the air pocket was not there, then it wouldn't have exerted enough open space in cooling system. When it warmed up the air pocket *********** car was not old enough and did not have enough miles for this; it was solely due to Becka Automotive. The third party truly believes the source of the cars end of life is Becka Automotives lack of proper mechanic work and low quality.I am also requesting that Becka Automotive take responsibility for the $16,000 damage they have caused to the engine of my car by repairing it or providing the funds to have it rebuilt. I believe the solution should be that my car becomes drivable again.Thank you,******* *******Initial Complaint

I turned in my car for repairs to Becka Automotive on Wednesday 12/06/2023. My car is still/currently at Becka Automotive awaiting completion. I've called them every Friday, after two weeks of not hearing from them, to get a written estimate of the cost and completion of repairs because they have not called me. I have yet to receive a written estimate or a definitive completion date. When I call Becka Automotive about when my car will be repaired, I'm repeatedly told next Friday. And when I ask how much the estimate will be, I'm told around $4,800. I still haven't received a written estimate or a difinitive completion date. Today is Thursday 01/18/2023.
