Three years ago, I had a visit at ******************* of ******** (business name is now Family Dentistry by ****************) where I was informed that their invisalign type services would be covered by my two insurances. The front desk staff confirmed this by verifying in their computer system, and I made it clear that I would not proceed with the treatment unless it was fully covered by my insurance. However, approximately six months later after treatment, I received a bill for $2529.70. I called and was told by the office manager that it would be written off, and that their system automatically sends statements, which he could not turn off. I did not pick up the device as originally planned, as I had made it clear beforehand that I would not accept it if my insurance did not cover it. Yet, three years later, I received another statement (dated 04/01/2024) for the same amount.This is unacceptable and I am writing this complaint to address the situation. So far, my experience with ******************* of ******** has been disappointing and frustrating. I expected transparency and proper communication regarding insurance coverage, but instead, I have been left with a ******************* that was not properly addressed. As a customer, I have the right to know what is covered by my insurance and what costs I am responsible for. It's important for businesses to uphold their promises and provide accurate information to their clients in order to maintain trust and avoid such misunderstandings.
