A prospective business relationship was initiated with American Mortgage Network via communications with a one ***************************. ****************** alleged that she (on behalf of American Mortgage Network) would provide me a mortgage pre-qualification by placing a soft inquiry on my credit report; however, instead, ****************** placed a hard inquiry on my credit report, thereby causing my credit score to decrease.Monday, June 26, 2023, I sent ****************** an inquiry regarding the nature of the credit inquiry. I shared with ****************** that, during our telephone conversation, we discussed, and she agreed, that my credit report would not be affected because she would perform a soft inquiry instead of a hard inquiry. On the contrary, ****************** performed a hard credit inquiry, indicating that she placed a hard credit inquiry because she wanted to get me pre-approved instead of pre-qualified.At all times, Ms. *************************** knowingly and willingly made false claims regarding the benefits of the company's products/services. ****************** expeditiously performed a hard inquiry to obtain a pre-approval for her own personal and financial gain. ****************** willingly and knowingly made false claims (acts of fraud and deception) regarding the benefits of the company's products/services.On Monday, August 12, 2023, I filed a complaint with the company's CEO, ******************************* regarding the actions performed by ******************. He indicated that he would perform an investigation regarding same. I placed a second call to ****************** two weeks later. He claimed that the matter was still under investigation. I forwarded an email to ****************** on Monday, September 11, 2023; however, to-date I have received no response(s).The only acceptable and amicable resolution to this matter is for American Mortgage Network contact all three credit reporting agencies: namely, ************ Experian, and Equifax and have the hard inquiry changed to a soft inquiry as initially agreed.
