In Jan/Feb this year i contracted with them to reroof the house and part of the job included taking down and re-installing the ** solar on the roof. I had ***** raingutters installed 3 years ago, so I wanted to keep the gutters. During the job a portion of my raingutter got bent. The roofers said they didn't do it but they would look at it and try to fix it. They did climb up and replace a screw, but that didn't correct the problem. Yesterday ***** came out and said it can't be fixed, it has to be replaced.

My home is located on 5 acres and my main power pole is located near the road, behind my fence, which is approximately 400 feet away from the sub panel on the house. When the solar install team arrived at my residence they cut my fence down by the power pole near the road instead of accessing the pole/home through the gate, which is approximately 200 feet away. I immediately contacted the company and confronted the workers asking them why they cut my fence. The workers and the company stated they would fix and or pay for the damaged that they caused. The damage they caused to the fence was approximately $500 in damage. Its been approximately 3 months of them stating they will send me the money or the check is in the mail, however no money has been received. I was also asked to pay the permit fee with the county and they would refund me the amount, this never happened either. This company never showed up for building inspections and told me that it was my responsibility to do it. **** their sales person makes false statements about their product and there resolutions for this issue . This company is predator in nature, quick to push through paper work and make lots of false statements. This company needs to be investigated for there business dealings.Business response

we had already taken care of this customer complaint when he called his salesperson to complain. See attached email string. We gave him $500 plus the cost of permit and he was happy. And, as you can see from the email chain, we attempted to reach out to him several times to correct.Initial Complaint

Over the last year, *** sent away over a dozen solicitors for this company asking them to never return (as a company). Every time it's been a new person. who cannot provide a solicitation permit or business license, and knock ON a sign that clearly states no solicitation.Their email address on their website does not work, their phone number is automated and does nothing, so this is my last step to be able to inform them that they are not wanted, nor welcome on my property and from this day forward, I will just be calling the police, and will press charges for any and all further violations.Business response

This is not our company. This is a company pretending to be us. We have had *********** serve them with a cease and desist due to their practices and pretending to be us. We do not do any door knocking. Our marketing is word of mouth. Here is the contact information for the fake California Renewable Energy. We were in the process of going discussing of going Solar, the solar agent made a lot of promises but fulfilled none. Main promise roof repair was to be done before delivery of the solar system; they rebuffed on this promise claiming roof repair would occur at a later date, in view of this we have cancelled the deal, Solar man shows up today threatening to put a lien on our house despite no actual work having been done. We told him we no longer want this deal , we have lost trust in them. Ordered him off the property and called the sheriff. This was California Renewable energy. We have been trying to get solar back-up batteries installed at our house for the past 6 weeks. At first, they advised us that the county was dragging its feet on the permit. When the permit was finally signed, they said they were trying to get a crew freed up. They then had the batteries sent to us where they have been sitting on a pallet in the driveway for at least three weeks. They told us that we should stay home on a Saturday and a crew would bwe around to install them. I received a telephone call that morning that the crew had been pounding om our door for an hour but there was no one home. I ADVISED THE CALLER THAT i I DIDN'T KNOW WGICH DOOR THEEY WERE AT BUT IT WASN'T OURS. t THE CALLER SAID SHE WOULD ADVISE THE **** THAT THEY WERE AT THE ***** HOUSE. w WE SPENT THE REST OF THAT sATUEDAY WAITING FOR THEM BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I CALLED THE COMPANY THE NEXT mONDAY AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD GET ANOTHER **** TO RESPOND. THAT WAS TWO WEEKS AGO AND WE ARE STILL WAITING. i I'VE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE LAST WEEK TO CONTACT THEM BUT EITHER NO ONE ANSWERS OR THEY WOULDN'T RETURN MY CALL. THE ANSWEERR MACHINES ON BOTH OF THEIR NUMBERS ARE FULL AND ACCEPTING NO MESSAGES.We still have the batteries sitting in our driveway. It has been over two weeks since I have been able to talk tyo a live person at that business. All we want is the batteries installed.
