Poor commutation by employees Dont tell you if they are installing or the time. Wasted my time following up and waiting Incomplete job with wrong handles and they dont commicate with the customer to tell them they are back order. Customer has to follow up But they want to get paid in full even though they arent finished Rude manager. Poor communication

This has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life with a vendor. Two months ago I had a designer come to my house to design a custom built in in my office, she took measurements and then did a drawing on a piece of paper. I asked her if it was going to come to me in CAD and she said no, this is it. I should have just walked away at that point. About three weeks later the installer came and the dimensions of the install were totally wrong, we looked at the "designers" drawings and realized they were very confusing and she put in incorrect measurements. The installer took the correct measurements with me and wrote it down and sent it to his manager. His manager called me to verify the measurements and we confirmed the ones on the drawing that was done by the last installer was the correct measurements. Today another installer came after rescheduling (I took a day off work and now was on a second work from home day) and again, the install was 6 inches too small! Both of us were so surprised. I sold the storage unit I had in my office and I have had piles of books and boxes all over for over two months. I am asking for my money back and will look for a different comapny that provides CAD drawings, and truly professional designers. This has wasted so much of my time and energy.

The design consultant was very courteous and professional. She reviewed all aspects of our order in detail and she provided design suggestions which we very much appreciated.

The consultant was very knowledgeable, easy to work with and professional. I had some unusual/atypical requirements/requests for the closet we were working on and she went the extra mile to figure out how we could make it work. She spent over 3 1/2 hours with me designing the closet and was very patient. She took the time we needed to design the closet I wanted without making me feel rushed. Installation went well and the closet looks great. Installers were professional and efficient. There were a few minor defects in the melamine finish but they were remedied without any hassle. I found a few more minor flaws after the installers left but they were corrected in a timely manner and without my having to contact them multiple times to take care of it. I will be honest-I was worried about their low ratings on Yelp but I had absolutely no problems and everything went smoothly. I will have no problem using them in the future if I need another closet redone.

Great experience! We love our new Wall Bed. The finish adds an elegance to our new guest room / office. The mechanism is as smooth as a Swiss watch. Couldnt be happier!

I was very happy with the services of Closets by Design. They made sure all my wishes came through and installed a very nice closet in my bedroom. I appreciate their flexibility, communication, and professionalism.

We prepaid for our two custom closets before the job was started.The installation techs showed up at 9am on a rainy morning. The techs ask if they can use our garage to work ( cut up all the parts needed for the install).One tech worked on the master closet as the other tech worked in a second bedroom. They were there for 5 hours.We were not happy with the end products!I called the store manager and requested that he inspect the job two days later.Our entire home was filled with sawdust including the garage!The manager said he would pay to have our entire house professionally cleaned which NEVER HAPPENED!He sent two other techs a week later to fix the two closets! They vacuumed up all the sawdust in the two bedrooms and wiped down all the closet walls to remove the sawdust !They were told that they would blowout our entire garage of the sawdust but did only a partial job!We were left with a house and garage FULL OF SAWDUST!Till this day one month later n still cleaning up the SAWDUST!!!!Definitely DISAPPOINTED AND DISSATISFIED AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

The absolute worst experience my husband and I have ever had. I followed it ad that said 40% off. The person came in November or December and took measurements that were completely inaccurate. After clothes being all over my room for six months and five different installers each time worse than the next it finally ended with me having a closet that is crooked at the top. Everyone there is completely dismissive. No one takes accountability and they are downright rude. I do not advise anyone to go there. Additionally, they damaged my wall and Ive been asking for reimbursement and have not heard anything back from them.

The closets by design are bad representations, bad in customer service. Take advantage with *************** people.
