    We purchased an electric motorbike c5 on may 6, 2024, and we received it on May 9. Within a month, the frame completely broke through. On June 13, I sent pictures to customer service of the broken frame, which is covered under a 2 year warranty. On June 17th, *** from Himiway bike said they wished to replace the bike for us and instructed us to go to their warehouse in the City of Industry-he asked us how many miles were on the bike. I responded that there were ***** miles. *** said "This exchange is free. You just need to drive there and pick up the new bike." Additionally, a $50 coupon was offered as well. On June 28th, my husband spent half his work day driving to get to the warehouse to pick up the new bike. Upon arrival, the employee refused to exchange the bike saying it had too many miles on it. My husband called me and I told the employee that I had the emails where I disclosed the mileage amount (again the frame broke within the first month) He basically accused us of lying and I forwarded the email chain, and then he said he would need to rebuy the bike for over 2k (currently on website on sale for $1699). The bike was a lemon and after promising to replace it, they instead tried to CHARGE US MORE THAN THE CURRENT LIST PRICE in person for a new one. This will be escalated to the **** This company is a fraud.

    I wanted to share this honest review of my experience with Himiway. It gets weird. I bought my Himiway D5 Zebra on Jan 11, at 6:55pm. I could not wait for my new bike. This was to be my ride to and from work and I was excited to skip traffic and cruise. The bike was delayed because of snow but I eventually got the bike and I was in love. I was telling everyone who would listen to buy one. Ebikes are the answer to our commuting problems I would say to people complaining about D.C. area traffic. Then one day the bike started acting funny and the peddle assist was touch and go. I saw an error code and took it to the local ebike shop. They said it was still covered under warranty but that it was going to take 1-2 weeks to fix because it's a busy time of the year. I told them I would be willing to pay for shipping overnight because I need the bike. I just started a new business and need it to get to work. 1-2 weeks turned into 3, 4, 5 weeks. It's not going on for 11 weeks.Our bike shop has been trying to get the correct part for months now they are a Himiway certified dealer/ repair shop. There is this long email chain with zero response from Himiway save for one email asking for the part number. I got an email saything the correct part was coming from *****. That was three weeks ago and I don't know if it was the correct part or even if it arrived. Last week, 10 weeks into this ordeal, I began writing online reviews on the Himiway sight. That review will never see the light of day. My 1 star review was never posted. Then I went onto the Himiway ************** and posted. That post never showed. As admin of these channels, they wont post negative reviews So It has me thinking how many angry customers are out there. Had I seen some of these negative reviews I would have gone with another company. I thought I did my research but it turns out that Himiway is only showing positive reviews.Don't fall into the same trap I did.
