I purchased a YESOUL G1M bike on 25 July 2024, in the amount of $399.99. One of the key selling points advertised for this particular exercise bike is the ability to cast from your phone to the bikes screen while working out. Upon receipt of the bike and assembly is when I was informed that in order to utilize the casting functions of the bike I would need to subscribe to the Yesoul fitness app. Now I have been a Yesoul customer since 2021 and have an older ********************** bike without a screen and utilize the Yesoul fitness app with that bike without a subscription. Individuals who purchased the G1M bike earlier this year are also able to utilize the bike and the casting functions without having to purchase a subscription to Yesoul fitness app. Again none of the current advertisements for the bike nor the Yesoul website mention that a subscription is required to utilize the casting the functions. I contacted Yesoul regarding the discrepancy and also to advise them that when attempting to purchase a subscription through their site utilizing ****** that there was an issue. To which ****** stated the issue is with the Yesoul website/app. Yesoul has acknowledged the discrepancy between the website/ads and the capabilities of the product they send. However, they refuse to refund my purchase price or provide a prepaid return label. Instead they want me to pay approximately $150 to send the bike back to them, plus have a $100 restocking fee deducted from my refund. Which when spending $399.99 and losing an additional $250.00 to return the bike is simple unacceptable. Especially, when they have acknowledged the bike has a material misrepresentation and have offered zero resolution on purchasing subscriptions utilizing ****** so how am I going to continue using the bike once their offhanded 3 and 12 months free subscription expires? I just want my money back in full as well as a prepaid return label to send their product back.
