- Cat tree purchased for me by a friend on 12/23/23 as a Christmas gift. - Within one day or receiving 12/25/23 and bringing home 12/26/23, defective, broken base. - Company website says "We offer free returns or exchanges for any defective or damaged products. To apply for a free defective/damaged product return, we require proof of defect in either photos or videos sent to ************************************* We will provide a return label for you to ship your product back to us." ************************************************************* - I emailed company on 12/28/23, sending 5 pictures and 2 videos showing defective base. - Initial response on 12/28/23 was to provide info on store this was purchased from, my address, and receipt if available. - 12/28/23 I sent my address, but since it was a gift had no receipt or store info. - 12/30/23 followed up, no reply from company - 1/2/24 company said they would look for a replacement part (if available) - 1/2/24 company sent a email, they don't carry parts for this anymore, no offer to return or exchange. - 1/2/24 I sent them a screenshot of the defective policy online requesting it was replaced. - 1/2/24 company said they offer free replacement parts within 6 months of purchase. Said this particular item was discontinued, offered nothing again. - 1/2/24 I requested once more to replace since this was a gift and defective. - 1/3/24 I obtained purchase receipt from my friend who gave me this gift and sent to the company. It had the store purchase info and date (12/23/24) within last 30 days! Requested it was replaced again. - 1/4/24 Company suggested I take this back to the location where purchased, could not send me any replacement parts. - 1/4/24 I requested again they honor what the website says and offer a replacement. I supplied everything asked for; pictures and videos of the defect, purchase location, date and receipt. - No reply from the company after this. - I would like a cat tree replacement of equal value.
