I sent my 1996 RMZ-250 to be repaired. After acouple months of no call back or any given information on the bike. I called the business myself to see if I can pick up my bike and was informed that it was scrapped/sold to a local junkyard. I didn't buy this and thought they were trying to keep the bike for themselves personally. I asked for the location of where the bike was sent because I have my pink slip, and was going to search for it with the VIN number on the pink slip and the VIN matching the Dirt Bikes. After this I was informed by Alex that my bike was going to be repossessed from the junkyard and I was going to be able to pick it up in 4-5 days. I got a text to pick my bike up no later than 3pm Tuesday, December 28, 2021. I went to pick my bike up and took it home. Everything seemed fine until further inspection at my house. My gas line was ripped off and a hosing tube was snipped so my bike doesn't start. My bolts from my plastics were tucked under the seat instead of being set back together in place.. Prior to all this Alex called me and told me to pick up the bike anytime I was available to do so because he got it to start and the labor was free due to them being shut down and moving to Texas. The business is charging to take the bikes out by other customers up to $500 on unfixed dirt bikes even though the business no longer is running here in California.
