I purchased a used vehicle from this business. Just recently had to file an insurance claim due to my front bumper needing to be fixed. The insurance company advised me to take it to the repair shop to have them assess the issue and fix it. I dropped off my vehicle with the repair shop to have the work done. About a couple of hours after I dropped it off the estimator at the repair shop called me to ask me some questions about the vehicle. The first question he asked me was if I were the original owner of the vehicle and I answered no. The next thing he asked me was if the vehicle has ever been in a collision before since Ive purchased the vehicle that resulted in front end damage and I answered no. The estimator went on to tell me that when they pulled the bumper off to assess damage there were all kinds of screws in places where they shouldnt be holding different parts of the bumper together, there is a bracket being the bumper that is pushed down which is an indication of impact, there were missing brackets and clips that are meant to hold the bumper on and there are also yellow crayon markings in several places that indicate someone marking areas where damage existed and needed to be fixed. I have photos of all of these things. So because of the existing problems they found when pulling the bumper of my insurance company couldnt continue with my claim that I made in regards to getting the bumper fixed. There were no carfax reports on the vehicle when I purchased it from sigma auto group stating that it has been in a previous accident. So this is why I am reaching out to you guys about this.
