      Contractor spread dirt, debris from side neighboring/adjoining fence over our gavel and left it. Bottom of fence is not in ground and allows dirt from their yard to enter our property. Contractor left hole at rear of property that goes into back neighbor's yard.

      The redwood fence and gate contract was signed on 9/6/22 for $10,280 ($5,880 for the fence and $4,400 for the gate) specifying an upgrade to CLEAR redwood. They used clear wood on the fence but inferior (knotty) wood on the gate. They said they would replace the inferior wood on the gate but have failed to do so and keep making excuses/stalling saying they are unable to get 8 clear redwood fence boards and are trying to collect the 8 boards needed to replace the worst boards from their regular wood deliveries. I have heard nothing from them since my last call to them in Dec. I just want it fixed.

      We will have someone stop over this week. Take photos and measurements so we have the details. We will order the replacement boards special for this repair. We will notify the client when they arrive and schedule the installation. All of these actions will be done in the shortest possible timeline. The boards that normally arrive from our vendor are still not available. We will special order the proper materials from a different vendor and absorb the difference in costs. We will have our office reach out to the client to set up as needed schedule.

      On 1/8/22 AJ fencing wrote 2 proposals, 1 for 6 ft and 1 for a 7 ft fence installation and removal of existing. When asked about the 7 ft option, at a price of $5590 and a gate at $650, ******************* informed us and documented that a 7 ft fence could only be installed with 6 ft board on board wood with 1 ft of lattice to be in compliance. We chose the 7 ft option. 2/2, work began on fence A. After completion, I complained about above ground excess cement around the base of each post that did not reflect their advertised photos, an unleveled post that caused some cracks between boards and the presence of green markings on the post and kickboards. The issue could not be resolved that day due to a language barrier. 2/4, after disappointment, a refund of $300 and a return of *************, I requested that fence D/D1 be revised to iron at a cost of ****, instead of wood at $****. With no explanation, fence B1 and C1 were increased. 2/11, I asked if a pyramid post cap that AJ did not offer could be used. We agreed that I would purchase all and they would install. By this time fence B1 and C1 were revised three times. From $5590/650, $6570/700, to $6860/720, all after the start of fence A. We opted for a 7 ft fence that included 1 ft lattice and supporting post that did not extend beyond the lattice of 7 ft. for $5590/650. for fence B1 and C1 as reflected in our original proposal. We believe we were over charged fraudulently, because of a complaint and subsequent partial refund. We did not signed any electronic revised proposals only the original. Fence D/D1 was not installed. AJ fencing refused to refund $**** for services not rendered. No price list was provided. The multiple revised proposals to fence B1 and C1 came without explanation, but conveniently included **** additional dollars that was withdrawn, because of the change in material being iron. AJ does not do iron, as advertised on proposal. We wanted the fence of our dreams and not that of another.
