I am writing to file a formal complaint against Denova homes, the builder of my new house located at *******************************. I would like to bring to your attention a serious issue concerning the improper disposal of debris, ballast, and potentially industrial waste in my backyard by the builder.We closed on our new home loan on the 28th of May 2024. The price of the home was about $ ******* and the down payment for the loan was about $ *******. Our current monthly mortgage including taxes, insurance and HOA is about $ 4880.Upon closing , I discovered a significant amount of debris and materials that do not belong in a residential backyard. The debris appears to include materials such as concrete, metal, and other construction-related waste that strongly suggests it could be demolition debris or waste destined for landfill. The original soil in the property did not have debris waste. This leads me to believe that the builder may have improperly transported this waste from elsewhere and dumped it on my property or the waste from the building homes was dumped in my backyard and was compacted.Not only is this a violation of environmental regulations and ethical construction practices, but it also poses a serious threat to the safety and well-being of my family and me. The presence of industrial waste in a residential area is unacceptable and raises concerns about potential health hazards and environmental damage.I have contacted Denova homes regarding this issue, but have not received a satisfactory response or any indication of their willingness to address this problem. As a result, I am seeking your assistance in making the builder understand that's not good business practice. I request Better Business Bureau conduct investigation into this complaint and take appropriate action to ensure that the builder removes the debris.I wish to request BBB to look in his matter.thank you,******Business response
