I have had repeated issues with the local garbage company. They continue to refuse to pick up garbage cans. Issues start over a year ago when my son took the cans out, and put all the cans too close, he had never done this before. So they refused to PU. Since then the driver continues to refuse to PU. Once he said the lid wasn't fully closed so he would not take it. I was standing in the driveway watching him, he would not roll down his window and say there was an issue, just drove off. Then he said that the power lines going to the house were too low. These same power lines were in place for the last 50 years. They want to charge you to come back to empty the cans. They have stated that the cans must be at least 3' apart. With three cans, there isn't enough room to have cans spread out over 13', without blocking someones driveway. I have had issues with our recycling bin only being 1/2 dumped. I have had my arm in there afterwards and made sure everything was loose, and not stuck in there. This has happened many times.I have requested a driver ID, (not his name) so I could know if I am continually having issues with the same person, but they refused to give this information out. They won't even tell me if I have a the same driver each time.

On 1/19/22,Wednesday evening, I placed my garbage cans outside my driveway as instructed since day one. On 1/20/22,Thursday afternoon, I received the voicemail fr ********************* fr the garbage truck company/Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery that they refused to empty our garbage cans as the cans were not 3+ feet apart. I replied to ***** and demanded her driver came back the same day & emptied my garbage cans for #1.I placed my garbage cans w/ reasonable amount of space apart so that their driver could work on it. I did it since I owned this home yrs ago. #2.There are limited amount of space avail on drive way as home-owners place their garbage cans the same evening. W/ the vehicles parked taking up the space, it is impossible for every homeowners place their garbage cans 3+ feet apart. #3.This is the very first event happening. The driver should empty my garbage cans & send me a notice to avoid that happens again. The driver instead chose to drive away and leave my cans not emptied. The same day later, ***** emailed back to me stating that she would send their driver back same day today as a courtesy.I got home at 6:25pm fr work. My garbage cans remained filled not emptied on my drive way. I emailed ***** and filed the complaint. On 1/21/22, Today/Friday, ***** got back to me that their driver came back to my place on 1/20/22, yesterday/Thursday afternoon but their driver refused to empty my garbage cans again because they are not 3+ feet apart still! ***** asked me to pay $$$ extra up front & would send their driver back the next day. I was very annoyed and emailed back to ***** & requested speaking to her supervisor. It is now 10:30pm. My trash cans remained filled with trash & smell my place.I am still expecting their reply & I will have no empty cans for trash until their next pickup 5+ days later!
