    Dear Better Business Bureau,On May 05, 2014, we put a $1,000.00 deposit down for a shed with Tuff Shed ***********************************************************************************. On May 14, 2014, I spoke with **** and was to give her a call when our pavers were completed and ready for the shed to be built. Unexpectedly, we ended up in Mediation/Arbitration with our paver contractor through the California ********************** During the process, I was in contact with different employees at Tuff Shed and was told that they will hold the deposit and shed until we were ready since the Sales Quote had no expiration date. Sadly, it took until 2021 to complete our pavers (delayed even more due to Covid). I was told by our contractor that I needed to allow the pavers to settle before having the shed built since the sanding on the pavers may need to be reapplied. This brought us to October 2022 when I contacted Tuff Shed regarding getting the shed. I spoke with ********************* and he told me that they couldnt find our deposit or Sales Quote. I emailed the Original Sales Quote to Bill (attached) and worked with my credit card company to get a copy of my payment but since my credit card company was taking so long, I decided to call the Tuff Shed **************** on December 09, 2022. I spoke with **** and she told me the best thing to do was to contact their accounting department. I left a message on the accounting department voicemail and in two days I got a call back from ******** She told me she found our payment and original Sales Quote. She said that she would forward all the information to ********************* and that I could proceed with getting the shed. On December 13, 2022, I received an email from Bill that he had received our information from his accounting department, but he just needed some additional information to complete our order (email attached). On December 14, 2022, I went to the Tuff Shed office to gather the colors and roof colors for my parents to decide on which colors they wanted for the shed. On January 05, 2023, I emailed Bill with our choices. On January 18, 2023, **** sent me the updated quote, not only with the updated colors but the dollar amount completely changed. I emailed **** asking why there was a change to the dollar amount and if he could handle this or if I needed to again contact the corporate office. On January 20, 2023, I received a call from ***********************, District Manager, regarding the price increase. ***** admitted that the Original Sale Quote was still in there system; however, he was surprised that it was and that it shouldnt be. He also told me that it is assumed that a Sales Quote is only good for **** months, even if its not stated on the Sales Quote. I told him that cant be true since I have been working with various Tuff Shed employees throughout the years and that they still have our original deposit and Sales Quote. He told me that he wasnt calling to negotiate with me. I asked him how he was planning to make good on this and he said he wasnt sure. I asked whom I could work with since he didnt seem to be able to give me a solution. At that time, he stated that he would have to contact his legal department. I have given ***** a full month and I have not heard a word from him. I am hoping that the Better Business Bureau could please assist me with this issue. I would like to get my 85 year old parents their shed after all the years of hardship that they have had to endure with the pavers and now a shed.Thank you in advance for your time and effort with our issue!Sincerely,********* and ****************
