Alpine Veterinary Hospital was unable to locate a prescription for my diabetic dog, even though the paper prescription was written by ****************** wrote the prescription and said prescription was handed over to the vet techs in order to get the needed medicine (insulin). On 10/23/2021 at 9am PT, I went to pick up a phone order prescription for my dog and had requested a paper prescription for use at another pharmacy. The vet tech looked at their online records and could not find any scanned or noted prescription for my dog other than the past receipts of purchase for insulin. I then told the vet tech that I originally gave them the paper prescription from ******************. The vet tech opens a junk drawer and finds two folders with handwritten prescriptions. The vet tech sifts through them like a deck of cards and cannot locate my dog's prescription. This is complete negligence because the prescription is neither on the computer database or the paper copy "file."Furthermore, it leads me to believe that my dog has not and is not receiving the proper care. In the past 12 months, he was scheduled for an 8-hour insulin test where he was boarded at the vet. But upon arrival, they said they did not have him for that procedure and made us reschedule. We have yet to receive any report of his tests - bloodwork, insulin levels, or otherwise - we have only received receipts of payment.
