      I bought a Datcon Hour Meter MDL # *** for $87.95 and shipping $20.05 (order N *******) . The Meter stopped working at 30.3 hours. Aircraft Spruce made me mail it to ******* Global Instruments for analyses and I have to pay shipping $6.90 ( Tracking is **********************). It was received 04/29 at ******* Global Instruments. Now they want me to wait for 2-3 weeks . I feel like I have been ripped off, because I bought the meter from Aircraft Spruce , but they will not step up and take responsibility. I am requesting a refund, including all shipping expenses, because I don't trust Datcon anymore. I have been A.S. customer since the mid 80s and I've always been happy. I wish this had not happened, because I don't trust A.S. anymore. Thank you for your help.

      I emailed ****************** directly this afternoon and informed him that we had already refunded him for the defective instrument and would refund him for the shipping charges today. He responded quickly saying that he was very pleased with my response and looked forward to continuing to use Aircraft Spruce as his supplier. Please update your files to reflect that this complaint has been resolved to the customers satisfaction.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      9-11-23 I placed an order for a Landing Gear Oleo Frame Cover, order number *******. Cost including shipping ***** . Sent to ************************************* ************** *****. The package arrived on 9-16-23, and it was not the part I ordered. Called Aircraft Spruce Mon. 9-18-23 and spoke with *****, explaining to her I received the wrong part, she told me the part I purchased was not in stock and told me to place the number ******* for *** return to Ca. Not being able to fulfill my order on the wrong part, on arrival to Aircraft Spruce my funds would be returned to my account. The package was placed by the garage for pick up by *** for 2 weeks binging it in at night placing it out everymorning for 10 working days and never picked up. I called Aircraft Spruce on 10-5-23 to inquire why my package was not picked up, I was told pick number ******* would have to be reissued but that would require her supervisors approval and she was not available at the time and would get back to me with the pick up information. I waited all afternoon and E-mailed Aircraft Spruce. The following day 10-6-23 I received an E-mail from ************** which said the same as above.(Would need a supervisors approval to process my request), This excuse is getting old, and I need resolve ****************************** Thank you.

      We apologize the delay. We have attempted twice to have the item picked up by *** so that we can issue the refund. Both previous attempts were unsuccessful. We have now sent a return shipping label to the customer to have the part returned at which time we can issue the refund in full. Thank you for your continued patience.

      On November 9, 2021, I ordered online a model airplane (F4B-1 Phan*** II Model 1/40), order number 14944**9, from Aircraft Spruce & Specialty Co, *** Airport Circle, Corona, CA. On November 11, 2021 two charges were posted to my credit card: $239.95 plus $16.03 ($255.98 total). On November 29, 2021, I contacted the company via e-mail and asked when my order would ship. I was told by ******* ********** the order was backordered and the vendor could not provide a ship date. On December 21, 2021, I contacted the company again. At this time, I asked for a full refund. On December 22, 2021, ******* stated that were reaching out to the vendor so they could issue a refund. To-date, they have not issued a refund on my credit card.

      We have reviewed the case as outlined by the customer. She is correct in the timeline of events. We have moved forward with the processing of her refund today. The reason it was not processed immediately is there are cus*** made and once they are in process they cannot be cancelled. Since this delivery date is far beyond the promised date from the manufacturer, we will bypass our normal procedure and issue the refund today.
