I bought a set of 4 Lionhart ************ ********** **** ** ***, from CTW here in ******, CA. These tires are supposed to have a 30k mile warranty. One of these tires exploded on me while driving on the freeway, after 14k miles, and I'm being given the run around on warranty replacement.Business response

Good Morning ******,
Hope all is well.
I spoke to the sales reps at CTW regarding this incident with Mr. ***** ******. This is what I found out.
****** ******, owner, spoke to him directly and explained the process involved with the tire manufacturers warranty. The defective tire must be sent out to the manufacturer so they can do a complete inspection and investigation as to what caused the tire to explode. Once this is completed, the tire manufacturer will send results and a pro-rated refund for the customer. This process takes an average of 6 weeks to complete.
This was explained to Mr ****** by Mrs ****** ******. She also asked him to come by and bring the tire so we can send it out to the manufacturer, but it seems he has not had a chance to come by yet.
Mr ****** stated he had the tire replaced already so that helps that he can still drive his vehicle around. We are willing to work with Mr ****** on sending out the tire to the manufacture for inspection and investigation as soon as he brings the tire in. Mr ****** also needs to be aware that since he already drove 14,000 miles, the use at the time of the incident is 47%. In this case, if it is found that the tire was defective, the remaining 16,000 miles of the warranty mileage left will be credited towards the purchase of the replacement tire. Meaning the customer will receive a credit/refund of 53% of the cost of the tire.
Please have Mr ****** contact Mrs ****** ****** so this can be resolved.
Thank you and Happy Holidays,
