      I purchased a afe 76mm throttle body with throttle body adapter for my 2014 ****** Tacoma v6. The instructions said highly recommend installing a afe power cold air intake due too the intake boot not being able to fit on throttle body. My truck already has a afe magnum force stage 2 cold air intake and the intake tube is too long. I emailed afe and the lead tech specialist *********************** said to cut 1 too 1 1/2 of the intake tube to make it fit. Even with that being cut off it still wound not fit properly.

      ********* order for a high performance air filter for my Hummer H2 4 days later it's still is not shipped and they will not answer any of my emails pertaining to a shipping date I do not recommend this company at all next time I will go with k&n

      Hello, The customer emailed our organization on January 3rd (@3:12am and @6:20am) and on January 4th (4:20am and @7:41am). We were delayed on email responses due to our holiday closure and with each inquiry the customer's email got pushed back further. I replied on January 4th at 8:28am with an update that her part was on back order awaiting a production schedule. The customer decided to cancel, the order was cancelled and refunded.

      Sad but true. I ordered a cold air kit for my **** and was never told it was OUT OF STOCK. They said AFTER 5 DAYS, it would be in stock 09/27/23. I emailed 1 week before it was ready and said out of stock till 10/15/23, 7 weeks out of stock with NO COMMUNICATION but from me. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Buy their product from ANY other source.

      Unfortunately, there are times when we receive a spike in demand for the products we manufacture, and there can be a delay in shipping until we can build more. We state this on every page of the website at the header. The order was placed during a holiday weekend so there was some delay in our communciation as our business was closed the following Monday. We communicate order status in order of receiving them. September 5th we were able to communicate the timeframe needed to have the product available, with the option of keeping the order, or helping with a cancellation and voiding the payment as this was purchased through Affirm, a third-party payment plan option. Customer optioned to keep the order, and we advised that we would update him around 09/27. He reached out to us prior to our scheduled follow-up, on Saturday 09/23. Due to our business being closed on the weekends we reached out on Monday 09/25 and we advised him of the continued delay and the new anticipated timeframe would be October. We stated that tracking would be provided once the order shipped or if he needed to make changes to let us know. Customer optioned to cancel, and his affirm loan was voided the same day 9/25 and never captured. We understand the frustration when a product is backordered, and we do our best to stay ahead of the communication before the customer has to reach out to us.

      I purchased an intake for my vehicle directly from aFe. While installing it I noticed that the filter didn't fit snug to the air box. I chose to finish the install anyway to try it out. Once I installed the intake and took it for a ride, I noticed that it was obnoxiously louder and had a humming noise. After a few tanks of gas I realized that I was loosing approximately 30-40 miles per tank. I called aFe to ask for a refund and to return the item. I was told that there would be a 20% restocking fee and that I would have to pay return shipping then wait another 4-6 weeks for a credit. I have no issue with paying return shipping but I do have an issue with paying over $80 in restocking fees for an item that does not seal properly, consumes more fuel and is extremely loud.

      This place is a scam. They have parts listed for sale but then reach out afterwards saying they have the item on back order. Why would it still be listed on the site for purchase? So they can take your money and mention its on back order until its too late to process a refund.

      Took my money then sent me a email saying they are not currently produceing the item i payed for and cant give me an eta as to when they can. Its been 2 months ive nether got my item nor my money and still nothing on when if they even can.

      I purchase a cold Air intake in November of 2021 no mention of back or it took 7 weeks to receive. When I received it there were some parts( screws) missing so I purchase and installed. A week later I notice a pipe coming out of the air filter and the clamp could not be tightened. I advise of a defect in poor engineering a couple of weeks and they make an updated Tube with a metal insert and I also purchase a spare filter a week later I inquire on where my parts are they have not shipped yet they are trying to figure out why you have to send multiple EMAILS before they answer poor customer service for a almost $500 dollar intake system. The pipe damaged the filter so I Offered to just buy it just to get it and it’s is in stock but has been sitting there for a week. Horrible experience on everything even the minor parts that are missing and broken I told them don’t worry about I’ll buy locally but I really need my intake tube and air filter.
